Okay. I haven't been able to contact them through their customer care line on their website. I know a particular centre where I intend to do the exam in PH. Can they register me considering my location?

You will have to call all the number provided in their website more often till they pick your call, they always busy attending to other customers, i think they should be able to register you in PH, because i remember i was told they can only ship their free kapplan text book to someone living outside the lagos. But try to confirm this, ..Success

Having had your major in mind, you'll search for schools, preferably state/public universities around the southern part of the US (living expenses are cheaper down south than north IMO). 2 to 3 school will be fine just to spread you risk of being admitted. Also let the prospect of getting funded by the school (Graduate Assistantship) be one of the factors to be considered in determining your school. Check out their app requirements in their website. Google is a great resource all through the process. Just a click and you get what you want. Turn in all the required documents. You may be asked to write the GRE and TOEFL to be considered for GA and that's a requirement. Getting GA is competitive so one has to get high scores in it. Some schools may ask for an evaluated transcript, that is changing it from Nigerian standard to US standard. World Education Service (WES) does that. Once all documents are turned in weather by email or courier or regular mail, the school makes their decision to admit or not. You are contacted after few weeks. Once admitted, most schools ask that you send a financial statement of your sponsor covering an equivalent amount specified for you. You can scan it to them or send it by courier. Once they receive it, they'll issue you your I-20 document and send it to your address. Once you get your I-20, you go ahead and pay SEVIS fee of $200, usually paid abroad, can't be paid from Nigeria. Then you are set for the embassy. Pay the visa fee, fill your DS-160 form online for a student visa (F1), book an appointment and date, get all supporting documents ready, prepare by reading people's transcript on here, pray, and go get your visa. Don't be scared with all the processes lined up here, it's a step at a time thing. Once you are determined, it'll be easy. People are doing this every day. Cheers.

This is one of Africa(Nigeria)'s problem, always believing they can achieve anything with prayers.
Lol, no wonder the country is in such a mess while other countries are developing much faster and leaving Nigeria behind. Even today, there's no constant electricity, a lot of people are hungry, hopeless and sad and they still call themselves giant of Africa? Hahahaha. Joke of the century.

There is something called freewill and the rule of law. Even your bible asks you to be obedient to the authority of your government. So if the Americans say you must be born here to be president by law, why do you think god will answer you? God doesn't exist to perform magic. Methinks you've transformed god into a genie.
well, only God can break protocols for my sake. And I still stand to say any damn thing can be achieved with prayers unto GOD!

According to the U S constitution you can only be the president only if you are a naturally born citizen. The law was crafted by human beings. Please I do hope that you know that's a rigid law. The law can be changed by an act of congress and it was last brought up by people supporting Arnold Schwarzenegger when he wanted to run for office. Even though it's highly unlikely that the law would be changed but it is still within the realm of possibility and there it's possible that he can be the president

khulthum, you should look at their description of work study and contact the department if need be. Work study positions requiring federal work study awards are not open to international students.

Antie sing one song na. grin

Praising as well as criticizing imply that I am trying to balance the equation. Every educated individual talks about positive and negative even on CNN.

Nigeria is deeply in trouble. Believe me. Last time, I heard kids singing parents listen to your children, we are the leaders of tomorrow. I smiled but wonder if the likes of OBJ, Atiku, Buhari and co are still there, what future are you talking about. Only the truth would set the country free.

"In God We Trust" in US dollar is also occultic. Don't be deceived. There are quite a couple of symbols on there you don't understand. Lets not go deeper.

With all the prayers in Nigeria, tell me, why is the country still in total shambles?
