Career is different from money making. Think about long term too.. if it pays, no qualms.

I always knew these guys made good money. There's this my keke driver in my estate that I once visited, this guy lives in a two bedroom flat with sweet interior designs and home gadgets.

I asked him how, he said it was just his hardwork and dedication to his job. He leaves early in the morning, comes back for lunch at noon and resumes work again.
PS: this guy is married with a child

I drive Keke as well,I work when I like, and am already a millionaire, I laugh when people look down on us, I once had an incident when a young man that works in an office insulted me and called me a common Keke man, just because he was driving a 500k jallopy car,I did not talk to him,but he got a shocker when we ran into each other again on a Sunday when I took my family for an outing in car I bought for 1.2m .he was just looking bemused.my advice to job seekers is,just start something no matter how small and don't allow shame to hold down.

what's the point? your job or girls? you are talking about a paying business and you just foolishly add girls to the issue.

The believe is that if you don't work in a corporate environment, wearing suit n tie then you are irresponsible or a hustler that has nothing to offer.

The internet has opened opportunity for people to work casually and still make more. My friend with Deloitte told me he gets 180k as salary and I advice him to quit that job cos i noticed he puts more effort in this job than I do with my "hustles" yet I make more than he does monthly... tbh, sometimes, I earn his monthly salary within a week. I really wish he would be man enough to decide it's time to get full reward for his effort by quitting that 180k/month job cos I know he works more than he earns.

I was inside a minibus yesterday, the driver and his friend were chatting; " I am a school cert holder, I got paid more than d so called graduates. The newly employed 2star lastma officers are graduates with 70k monthly salary. Me, as a driver with school cert, I earn more than graduates "

What do u make of this? Nigeria, which way.

op, as a graduate you should be able to package your keke driving a lot better than all them agberos on the road, i expect you to be courteous, ride more carefully with all safety precautions put in place, that will visibly distiniguish you from the normal keke drivers on the road and you will be able to get the woman of your dreams
You sound like these elderly people that didnt goto school. Before you stop a keke do u actually wait to see if the driver is well dressed, drives carefully and all? Abi you just hop into the next available keke?

just leave him,Keke drivers have a different driving code from the normal drivers, you cannot make much money if you drive like you are in your private car.that is the reason lastma and police have turned us into ATM.

The OP was a reply to a thread where he was encouraging an okada guy about woman issues, that is why he's reply was worded like that.

I wonder why you people make it a girls issue, even your fellow men might look down on you as a keke driver!!!
I have seen men insulting keke drivers just because of smallll brushing of their cars. You people should better focus on your keke driving.

Although some white collar jobs pay, but only a lady who hasn't gone out will be oblivious of the fact that some day to day earning jobs pay more than white collar jobs especially if the person knows how to manage his income properly, before the ban of okada in my state okada riders used to be hot cake in the dating market for ladies that know what's up, in their words "okada man dey pay like white" grin

that mentality is crooked, can you tell me what your problem is?maybe I can help you, why will you even associate enlightenment with prostitution? A lady dates a rich guy, you say she materialistic, she goes for an okada man you still call her names, I am just curious how old are you?

I understood the guy very well. 80% of the banker that wear suit are bbroke. I am a school drop out with only national diploma. But believe my hustling pays. Sometime I make like 500k a day just to give people a contact for were to buy a particular materials. Those that have contacted me from nairaland knows what I am talking about.

Hustling pay but it take time and endurance to study your hustling environment. In business many people will advice you to follow your passion but to me it is a weak advice because sometime your passion may not be viable immediately. My advice is make the money first even if you are to do a legal odd job and then go back to your passion. even what some called passion can not be found in one particular career. My passion in life is to talk to every graduating secondary school child on the truth about life instead of the junk the are thought by the teacher, but willl start that when I make money to my satisfaction because you can't teach a child how to make money without u having made the money. I have suffered for life and have acquire
a lot of real life experience.

There is something called delayed gratification. In 6 years time...that your friend in Deloitte will ask for a minimum of 800k a month from any potential employer...(and there will be a number of them)...
Work and learn now...enjoy later...
Besides we can't all be entrepreneurs...
