This is complete bullocks! Conte is not a Technical coach but Wenger is? The fact that he uses a 3-man defence instead of the popular 4-man defence line yet his team concedes the least number of goals should tell you how technically gifted he is. Wenger is technically gifted but Conte isn't? I Laugh again .



If there is one thing that is pretty obvious here, you don't know zilch about football. The team was under attack, with crosses repeatedly swung into the box and you want him to take off Matic? I'd like to have whatever you are smoking bro. Conte's substitution was a masterclass, Hazard and Pedro weren't having much influence in the game and it was obvious Hazard was getting tired. What happened when they both were substituted? We had a foothold of the game and we scored a second goal.




I agree with almost everything you said here .....almost everything. Except the Willian - Pedro comparison. Pedro puts almost the same amount of work and covers almost the same amount of distance as Willian, plus Pedro suits the 3-4-3 system better because he is a better finisher than Willian and he plays as a second forward behind Costa whenever we are on the front foot. Hazard is allowed the freedom to roam about anywhere he wants on the pitch so technically, we have only two attackers in that team, Pedro and Costa.
I agree with you that Hazard doesn't combine well with Alonso but the same time Willian also doesn't combine well with Moses. Willians holds the ball too long and for whatsoever reason, he often chooses not to pass to Moses even when the the latter is in promising positions down the wing.

We won but the performance was a far cry from what the fans expected. We made the game difficult for yourself needlessly.

Conte as I have always said is not a very technical coach. He is not in the class of Pep, Mourinho or Wenger; but he is no doubt a good coach and is getting better. He needs to observe the game more instead of pacing up and down his technical area. For example, in today's game, it was obvious we needed a ball holding midfielder who can link up the midfield and attack. Kante was doing the defensive duty very well. Instead the coach killed the attack by taking off Hazard and Pedro when he should have substituted Matic earlier.

The defence line needs working on. Too much complacency of late. Hazard is not enjoying the combination with Alonso because he is not a quick thinker and slows the pace of Hazard's movement.

Willian cover more ground any day than Pedro. Costa is not good with the ball(internship of dribble and pass) but is an excellent finisher so he needs the ball fed to him while he maintains his central position.

We need to work on our setpiece alot more. We miss out on alot of goal scoring opportunities because of poor setpiece. Also, our wing backs need to work on their final crosses.

Liverpool is next. Teams are closing in on us in terms of play and we can't afford to slip now. 8points is not such a big point lead especially given how desperate Arsenal are( though we know them. They won't win the league)

I just want to watch and enjoy my team play. Till date, I believe we had our best game in terms of dominance against West Ham on the opening day of the league.
