Mehn, dis thing too long. But sentiments aside, the decision of Jonathan to contest the elections and the party presenting him as the sole candidate of the party without primaries is the root cause of PDP problems.

You re right sir. Jonathan should not have contested on that election. A northerner would have given Buhari bomber to bomber. Now with the power of incumbency they would have won the election easily.

The failure that killed pdp..

I knew the party won't last beyond 2017 when he trampled on their constitution to impose himself as 2015 candidate with the help of Sheriff and others they want to oust now

The most useless president Nigeria ever had.. turned impunity, lawlessness & Electoral fraud to order of the day

in my opinion, fielding jonathan was not the cause of their downfall in the election. Their downfall started when they allowed five incubent governors to defect to APC prior to the election.

I concour. And that was prride and arrogant on their part.

the north dont have born to rule mentality...
forget what you know and try to talk with them...

jealousy is a normal human behavior..

northerners dont realy care who is president..
i talk with them daily...they never talked down on me before..

but if you allow boko to conquer half of their land and you still abuse them,i wouldnt trust you anymore too..

Was it not the state and local government authorities that allowed Boko Haram to grow? Boko Haram claim that they were disenfranchised and disillusioned by secular government and sought to do away with secular government have their region run in the Islamic fashion - how can that be the fault with GEJ when they started before he came to be president?

gej betray himself by not keeping to his word, your ineffectual buffoon is a betrayer to the core.
He is morally corrupt, is not a man to be trusted.
And it was a big crime to entrust a great country like nigeria into the hand of an ineffectual buffoon.
GEJ is 100% better than the incompetent, clueless vegetable that befell Nigeria, corruption is still at its highest with lies and deceits.

under the incompetent one thieves and rouges of the past have been declared saints once you decamp to the party.

it is through that the PDP is dead,we will also help to bury it.

You cannot expect to rule the country for ever.

Even if PDP had fielded a northern candidate, it doesn't mean he wouldn't have lost.

Just try and field credible candidates next time who know what responsibility towards Nigerians are.

Nigerians are getting wiser, and the era of getting into power, and not performing is gradually coming to an end.

If you don't perform, they vote you out.

I know we will get it right someday, and people will stop attaching sentiments to voting in candidates, regardless of tribe and religious affiliations.

Its really annoying when people vote just on the basis of tribe or religion. Your tribesman in power doesn't automatically guarantee he will favor you.

Youths need to start thinking, I wish all the governors in the north will prioritise formal education, a must for every child both primary and secondary. Establish more different sex schools for those that don't like same sex schools. Allow them broaden their minds so they can easily decipher who's going to be a better candidate from track records.

Hmmm but the northerners thinks otherwise. Especially this one they felt cheated.

Comparing millitary regime with democracy.
you lack education and continue to deceive your little mind.

Was buhari not a military man?
but with your little mind you supported and voted him into power.
you are delusional.

most of the past military men are still in control of the resources economic and political inclusive including theophilus danjuma.

The only lesson i learnt frm d above political epistle is The Hatred of the Southerners by the Northerners.... The sole reason for PDP woes in d last general elections is the greediness of the northern elites.... Anyway, i dont care whether its PDP or APC, my eyes don clear....i will stake my two grumpled balls on an IGBO or SOUTH SOUTH candidate come 2019. Enough is enough

Why are they complaining, when the North were handing over battern from Gowon, Shagari, Buhari, Babangida, Abacha and Abdusalam all in straight succession non of them remembered the other officers from the south. Today they are all recognized as former heads of state or president.
Beg to make amend. there is Murtala and OBJ between Gowon and Shagari. There is also Ernest Shonekan along the line. It's never in straight succession.

His words: “We cannot deny the fact that because President Buhari’s military government of 1984 was interrupted after a short period of 20 months, people were nostalgic that may be if Buahri was allowed to continue, he would have done better.

And why is he interrupted?

In orther words, they are saying, we don't care if Jonathan achieved anything, their party and staying in power is more important to them. It doesn't matter if d northerner is capable or not, let him just be a notherner . I hope Jonathan is seeing the faces of people that he let to hijacked his government now... bunch of oppurtunist. They sit and dine with mumu jona and yet stab him even in his face, but d mumu jona just drink to stupor

Nigeria is indeed finished.
This power zoning should be eliminated from our politics. Do ethnic affiliations make a man better than the next man
If we indeed believe in peace and unity as our national anthem says then we should see each other as one people and be blind to ethnic divisions.

The states have a duty to ensure security and the best states do so.

You think it is a coincidence that Boko Haram was founded in the most backwards part of Nigeria? Why did the leadership there not take steps to deal with the root of the insecurity? There are muslims in the midwest and the southwest - why are they not becoming engulfed in this Sharia nonsense? Why are thy not forming militias that kill people for not following the Quran?

GEJ is not the failure here, it is the Northern elite once again refusing to understand that they need to move forward and ensure that everyone can get a decent education - not just the children of the feudal lords and members of the armed forces.

Jonathan has never been a smart man, and not just that, he also had this huge inferiority complex to deal with. The likes of DAM, NOI, Clerk, etc intimidated and bullied him into taking decisions he would otherwise have relied on his basic intellect to take.

The very first false move he made was contesting in 2011. Regardless, he had the chance to right his wrong in 2015 only to bungle it like a blind amputee in a bobsled.

I dont see the useless enterprise ever recovering from their current state of coma.
receive sense! Gej changed INEC chair n put a credible man! Despite being from a diff tribe! That's leadership! Doesnt matter where u from or what party!

U think pdp didnt think of all that enough to ask him not to? Or u think even if it was u with intentions of winning u would put me there? He was transparent so what even problem u are facing is the result of your gullibility n so but trust in surface news n speeches they make u believe thinking u know it all!
