I just came back from Osogbo centre. Original certificates of all credentials are requested, an envelope to put in your documents, a pencil and cleaner. For post graduate, 2:1 is required.

I wrote the exam yesterday. The questions for yesterday and today were the same. That is for Lagos that was written at FSTC, Yaba.
The English questions were quite hard, like very hard
The mathematics were okay and the general paper contained some computer questions which were quite easy also
Population wasnt quite much also. Most people were from Unilag
Tell your friends in polytechnics to register and let them write the exams because most of them do not even know about it

No one is going to give you that sir. You already have enough hints to get you prepared more than those that wrote on the first day. The exam doesn't require you reading too much, you will be tested on what you already know. I would advise you to go and write yours and stop waiting for questions from those that have written, because it seems like everyone is answering the same questions. You aren't going to get it, anyway.

Is the statement of original? If yes, try your luck , but they are asking for original certificates.

thank you sir for ur reply. what i know is that experience is the best teacher, someone may think he/she knows something without having someone guiding him/her on such it, in which it may lead to failure, we go to high institutions in order to acquire knowledge from the experienced lecturers in which among this knowledge(s) are what we have known before gaining admission.

Oga, first off, your analogy has no place in the picture I painted for you about the exam. You have already been told the areas they picked questions from, and that's completely fair enough.

What again did you say you knew before gaining admission, and who thought you those? I am not understanding sir.

Perhaps I would state my point in clear terms so that you can get my drift. The scholarship is highly competitive, and it seems everyone under same category, such undergraduate, postgraduate, etc, is writing the same questions. Consequently, no one would give out the questions they answered. Hope you get it now.

I was not allowed to write the exam yesterday as the officials refuse my course reg form which was a scanned copy. NOT that it was fake. Although am doing my MSC in FUTO, I wanted to take the exam at port-harcourt. Its really sad. Because I believe there will still be verification by the Federal Govt. from the various institutions.. Life goes on.

Bro dont stress yourself, you really do have to wait till next year. You dont have cpga which is the major criteria in selecting awardees. DEs or Jambitos in their first uear must all wait till they are done with atleast a session

These Federal government are quite lazy, like very lazy.
First of all, they put the exams as PPT which I dont believe is fair enough as there will be missing scripts and the likes.
I also do not like the idea of setting the same questions in the examination hall. I wrote on the first day being Monday, people before us had the same questions, the same thing for us and the same thing for people that wrote the next day. People that wrote second day now be having 35/35 while we that went first day now be having the 20's range.
Plus does anyone have any idea why the state and local government stuffs had to be filled

it seems you didn't not get me right, oga, i believe that you cannot gain admission to any high institution without having an elementary knowledge of what you want to study, every admitted student has basic knowledge one way or the other of the course that he/she wants to study, if an exam is set up on many subjects it is not a crime in knowing the areas to be concentrated from those that have the experienced of such, let take English as an example, there are many topics and sub-topics in it in which an examination can never be set on all the topics in english likewise the other subjects too. you should know requesting the experiences of the experienced people towards the areas to be concentrated towards the questions asked in subjects to be sat on in this interview is not a crime in which it does not give room for anybody to discourage who wishes to share his/her experiences with his/her words if the discourager wants not to encourage.

You're asked to fill the state and LGA simply because the selection will be made by quota system as with everything in this country. How else do you want candidates from the North to benefit as it's obvious the southerners will be the ones that'd score the most in the test.
