Kind advice.

I applied for canada visit visa January 15 online and I got a mail today for procedural fairness to be replied in 15days. .it was stated that I did not indicate that I was refused USA visa ...which I am 100 percent sure that I did tick it and I stated in the form that I was refused USA and UK but without explanation. PLEASE HOW WILL I GO ABOUT IT.

Dear house, please advise my junior colleague collected her passport with a refusal letter. So painful. She was refused due to current employment situation. She earns 172 k and her husband earns 210 k. But they submitted a bank statements and fixed deposit worth 5 million naira. She said she will like to reapply again. Pls what's her chances

lol. Egyptair doesn't go to Canada direct. When you get to Cairo, you're going to connect Aircanada. Egyptair has an alliance with Aircanada. You'd see the flight details on your ticket, of course. The experience on-board air canada is amazing. Maybe you should give it a try on your next visit.
.

This is not correct please. You are gonna be flying on an Egyptair plane even from Cairo to Toronto. It is only when you are going farther than Toronto within Canada that you would fly AirCanada from Toronto via their agreement. I flew them to Calgary from Naija and back last May.

If she reapplies she will get the same outcome. Its good that the reason is known - current employment situation, that should be treated.

Hmmmm. I'd flown egyptair to canada on a couple of occasions in the past and the flight name changes from Cairo. I'd simply advise you do your home work solidly next time before you say somebody's claim isn't correct, or you ask for proofs or clarification if in doubt so you don't end up turning yourself into a laughing stock. There was a time I flew turkish airlines to north America and the name on the flight was different but only operated by turkish airlines, same with airfrance connecting flight to other destinations across the globe. This I know very well cos I always experience this. Maybe the below link will clear your doubt.

Quarrel no dey this one oh, abeg my people! If there's a proper understanding, there wouldn't be misunderstanding, really! Code-share workings makes both of you correct, these are possibilities, I mean the situation you both are supporting. I have missed a KLM flight by whiskers before, was moved to the next available Air France flight of the night, got to CDG and flew Delta to JFK, on my return, I flew Delta from ATL to FCO Milan, from there to LOS it was Alitalia. Why? CODESHARE! Also I've flown United to IAH and came back with Lufthansa via FRA before as a result of CODESHARE/Alliance.... It makes the experience smoother and easily adjustable with miles accrued still being secure, it's a welcome development.

Just really ain't wanting my crew to fly Egyptair to Canada before (na there the wahala be dey), would have loved if codeshare stuff will make AirCanada our lot cheesy. But then, if allowed on the North America route, the aircraft sure meets standard and even over. Egyptair from naija to Cairo no be moimoi before self.... Tell me of your experiences with them you both and everyone else that got it, and is reading me here too. Thanks and regards.

They know and understand all of these situations, they all fly, particularly for non immigrant visas, just make the pictures that are incontrovertible evidence available in your application. Regards

@OmoBendel24, thanks for your comment above. It's really surprising the way the poster took the whole issue as if there's a prize for anything here. I mean, nobody knows it all and I really don't like arguing or dragging issues. Not even on a social media.I only comment on issues I have first-hand information on. I wrote what I saw on my flight with them (At least I am 100% sure of that) and I don't know where this " I'd simply advise you do your home work solidly next time before you say somebody's claim isn't correct, or you ask for proofs or clarification if in doubt so you don't end up turning yourself into a laughing stock" came from?

Anyways as regards my experience with them, I would say the Lagos-Cairo leg wasn't really impressive as even the in-flight was just there and nothing to write home about (there were no individual screens attached to each seat). However, the Cairo-Toronto leg (around 11hrs thereabout) was FANTASTIC and I would say it really reflected the fact that some standards have to be met for North-American bound flights. Even up to the seats, meals, in-flight entertainment etc.

Then I would want to also point out that you should however stick to the flight time written on the tickets as you don't want to have to be calling an airline that doesn't run a 24hrs call centre service. And yes, that was the experience we (My family) had on our way back from Calgary. It happened that we got to the airport few minutes late for our Air Canada (pre-arranged) flight from Calgary to Toronto around past 7 in the evening and we were told by the officers that they had shut the checking-in system for the flight and they could not check us in again. We made several efforts to reach Egyptair via their call-centre to see if they could put us on another flight or reschedule us on the onward flight from Toronto to Cairo but was just getting the automated response that they had closed for the day(imagine that).

To cut the long story short, we had to book the next flight from Calgary to Toronto on West-jet (additional cost) so as not to miss our connecting flight from Toronto to Cairo since we couldn't get through to Egyptair to inform them about our challenge.

So, aside from the nasty experience I had as regards their Call Centre not operating a 24hrs service; I would say their service was okay (at least for their price). Although, I don't think I would want to try them again grin

Sorry, this post is a bit long but I just felt I should make it as extensive as I can be.

I guess other people with experiences on Egytpair can also contribute.

Do have a safe trip.

@ OmoBendel24, quarrel no go every dey laelae. Since the guy knows nobody has a monopoly of knowledge, why would he say somebody's post isn't true? That's tantamount to saying, someone is lying. Moreover, I think he's the one taking it too far because I didn't abuse him in any way rather...he did. All I was expecting him to have said, since he knows nobody knows it all was that....please I've not experienced it before, can you provide proofs because I also flew the same airline last May? And NOT to say ''this isn't true, please''. That's annoying and despite this, I didn't hit him back. I simply taught him how to respond to a comment nest time, especially if he's not so sure of what the person posted. Cheers

the experience was relatively ok apart from when returning home (from Cairo airport to Lagos). The second time I flew the airline, I concluded by taying to my self that both egyptair and turkish airlines do hold meetings on the way to treat Nigerian passengers from their airports to Lagos. I was served pasta as the did all other passengers on board. I had same terrible experience on one of my trips back home onboard turkish airlines. My colleague also confirmed this after my experience. turkish airlines served us a menu list to choose from, being the meal to be served on that flight. I ticked rice with chicken. Amazingly, we were all served pasta grin grin. O boy, come see protest. I can't forget that day. The crew members came to address passengers, that they were sorry because they didn't know the meal made available on that flight was pasta...but they gave us a menu list, imagine. One point to note here is that, airlines also go on lease agreement on their aircrafts. I knew this after we all complained of missing screens on the flight. We didn't know where we were headed..no maps nothing, the flight just ooze dey go. The crew members said the aircraft was leased to them, that it's not their plane ut turkish airways is the one operating it and they would not our complaint at their office. Btw, From Lagos to Cairo egyptair it was a good, smooth flight experience with nice treat on board, similar to what's obtainable in any of the west-bound airlines...i also enjoyed same service from Cairo to Canada. Maybe you should give it a try. I

Hello House,
Your assistance on here is prompt and awesome, more grease to your elbow.
I have a question, that I would be so happy if swift reaction can be given;
I applied for Canadian Visiting Visa like a month ago, but unfortunately, the visa was deny based on a reason, so painful, they said I didn't answer the application form truthfully, that, I answer No to a question which asked if have been deny a visa before. And sincerely, it was a mistake, not intentional. My inquiry, wish to re apply immediately, because the refusal letter gave room for that. So, want to ask the guru in the house, should I do Sworn Affidavit to explain my self about the mistake? Please kindly assist.

Secondly, should I re apply immediately or I should give some time? My visiting period is June ending.

Thirdly, my International Passport is expiring December 2017, should I renew it before I re apply or I should go ahead.

Many Thanks.

Guys good day,

Am new here but I have enjoyed reading this thread as it is very informative.

I would like to ask the gurus here some questions.

My passport was supposed to expire by DEC so I wanted to travel to out for holiday this year before it's expiration so I chose Canada. Presently a trusted consultant is doing the application on my behalf so its almost confirmed I would be given the visa but the problem is

I just got admitted in a school I applied for MSC in Norway to resume in August so I won't be going to Canada anymore for now.

I want to know if there is any very negative implications in the future of not using the Canadian visa if and when granted.

Did they give you the opportunity to answer to the misrepresentation? I'm sure they normally give applicants 10-15 days to reply.

There shouldn't be any negative implications. For future applications, you can write a letter of explanation and attach your admission letter to satisfy their curiosity.

Hello everyone... May the Lord almighty bless everyone for helping one another on this platform.

I intend to apply for a visiting Visa BUT I heared US and Canada share some infor as regards visa application. I am self employed , I was doing a certain business when I got refused at the US embassy with my wife in 2015. Now I do have another business which is doing very well and registered, I intend to apply with the new business.

My question, won't the Canadian VO think I had mention in my US application then that I was doing a certain business?
2, I have travelled to the Uk on several occasions (visit), studied and lived there legitimately for 3yrs but my resident permit got expired. After then, have travelled on visit again.... And also have been to Spain once. However, I still have a valid Uk visiting visa...

What's my chance of securing Canadian visa and what are the required docs To submit .... Or where can I read about required docs to submit..

I appreciate your contribution in advance. Many thanks

Try to get your USA visa before attempting canada again so you dont look desperate in before the canadian VO
