Not correct....Remember today must be: Sunday..if Tuesday were correct, then today will be Thursday.

I think, the statement was made on Friday...proof:
Let assume the statement was made on a Friday.
1. If Yesterday (Thursday) was tomorrow(Saturday).
2. Meaning Yesterday is now Saturday.
3. If Yesterday was Saturday, meaning today is Sunday.

Since today is Sunday, it means our initial assumption is correct and the statement was made on Friday.
You are correct.. But come to think of it, both explanations are logical.

Provide explanation for your answer.

Happy New Month and Happy April Fool's Day cheesy.

The answer, I believe, is Saturday.
The person under discussion wished that yesterday, that is, Friday was the next day (Sunday) of the particular day the expression was made (which is Saturday). That is to say, Saturday would have been Sunday only if Friday was the day immediately after Saturday, which is Sunday. Therefore, it follows that Saturday is the day that remark was uttered.

Proof by contrapositive:
Note that: In all solutions, today must be Sunday as stipulated in the problem statement.

If the statement was made on Saturday.

1. Then yesterday will be Friday.
2. Then tomorrow will be Sunday.
3. If Yesterday was tomorrow, then Yesterday is no longer Friday but a Sunday.
4. If Yesterday is a Sunday, then today is a Monday.

Since today = Monday (our Answer), is not the same as our starting assumption that today = Sunday, it then means our starting assumption is incorrect.

Your answer is wrong, today must be Sunday, you have tomorrow as Sunday.

Okay, but i thought it's; one day back, two days forward, involving 3days, and if Sunday be the third day, i guess saturday is the seconday, where it all started.

Explantion: if yesterday (Thursday) was tomorrow (Saturday), today would have been Sunday, because on Sunday, Saturday is always Saturday.

He said it on a Tuesday
Proof
now imagine this....Tuesday's yesterday is monday
monday is sunday's tommorrow
let tuesday be x...let sunday be y
X-1 = monday
buh if today is sunday, then tommorow will be Monday i.e y+1 = Monday
therefore x-1 = y+1 = monday
.
.
hence its bn proven today is Tuesday

Rubbish! nonsense proof, it was on a Friday , its logical English not mathematics WTF angry

The teacher made the statement on SUNDAY (Today): which is between yesterday and tomorrow.

Remember that the initial argument was that:
"If yesterday were to be 2moro, 2day would hv been Sunday"
It simply means that the day the statement was made by the teacher is Friday .
Cuz if Saturday[ 2moro ] that comes after Friday were to be yesterday [ Thursday ] , today [ Friday ] would hv been Sunday.
See the Actual days: Thursday ~ Friday ~Saturday.
See the Assumed days: Saturday Sunday ~Monday

Happy New Month and Happy April Fool's Day cheesy.
Just realized why most of us fail exams. The question is ''On Which Day?'' Not ''On Which Day Of The Week?'' The answer is simply TODAY. After postulating about yesterday and tomorrow, the teacher then mentioned today as the reference point in which the statement was made.
