I am shocked at some of the statements of Pastor Adelaja.

The office of a Pastor is held in trust on behalf of Almighty GOD. The conditions for qualifications and responsibilities are clearly spelt out in the Bible. If a man fall short of these expectations therefore; he is expected to confess and repent.

But the issue was never about perfection or whether Suleman is perfect or should be perfect. The issue has always been about Suleman admitting that his judgement fell short of what his congregation (those who give him money) expects and as such, should apologize.

No one said any human being or pastor is perfect. The crux is when you set yourself higher than others or stand in front of others and preach to them how to live, then you also set a very high moral standard for yourself.

Because Suleman fell short of upholding his higher moral standing, he should and must apologize not only to Ms. Otobo for lying to her to get sex, but to his wife whose health is at risk from Suleman's random and reckless unprotected sex with many different women.

Again, Suleman must apologize for his behavior, something that has nothing to do about him being perfect or not.
