The new trend among youths is video calls.
I wonder how a brother can have a video call with a sister and claim that his desire was not provoked or that he didn't stare at her.
If you did not look at her, what then was the essence of the video calls? Why didn't you just make a normal call instead?
Indeed, shame is dead and buried.
As a sister, if you see an incoming video call, how do you feel comfortably picking it, even if you are on niqab?

Video call should only be made with your spouse, parents or close family members who are your mahaarim, even if your female friend wants to make a video call with you, don't pick it, it maybe that a man is with her who may see you!
Making video calls with strangers is dangerous, they may take snapshots of it and expose it later, they may record it and send it to other people.
Its only permissible for a strange man to look at you for a marital purpose.
