Nothing worked for me

Nothing worked perfectly! I threw up at least once a day until 37weeks thereabout early trimester Maggi cubes kinda reduced the nausea a bit

For me, i dont really experience Ms. Bt for me to be strong that day i never miss my 2hrs sleep (frm 9am to 11am)

@Zaynie nothing worked for me o.I survived on yellow cream crackers n Milo till abt 14weeks. Started eating well around week 18. I still vomit at 20weeks, the only good news is I can eat the whole Nigeria if permitted

Hello everyone! I'm actually a guy following this beautiful thread. Though I have advised my wife to sign up on Nairaland so she can be active here. Well, that's by the way. She's in her 13th week of pregnancy and through out the first trimester, she haven't witnessed any form of morning sickness or whatever! So just yesterday, she started stooling and vomiting. I thought it was as a result of the noodles I prepared coz I added little ginger, sardine fresh pepper and other spice... But she's been stooling and vomiting seriously! Also feels weak. Pls is it advisable to get her lucozade boost or any energy drink so she could regain some strength? I'm seriously disturbed. Pls what can I prepare for her to eat to enable her take her routine drugs? Pls those with similar experience kindly help. Between, I noticed I've been stooling also. Lols

@ Zahnie agbalumo worked for me with my 2nd baby, but didn't work this time around. Garden egg did the wonders but it doesn't stop the vomiting. Still having nausea at 17wks but the Lord is my strength and muscle.

She needs to go to the hospital asap.
Stooling and Vomitting can lead to dehydration which will seriously affect her baby.
She needs some water in her.
Besides the uterus and stopping are 5 and 6. I've been told that serious stooling can induce slight contractions.
Please see a Dr.
If it's ordinary stooling now, e for better but stooling and vomiting? Red light!

Yesterday I woke up strong and even went to work but when i got to the office I couldn't even sit cos my waist and lower abdomen was on fire...And the lower left part of my stomach was like breathing. So I went home and after resting nd sleeping for sometime I felt better but towards evening the pains came back again with fever this time so I had to go to the hospital where i registered and after the nurse checked me she said its labor but it's not serious yet that the cervix just opened a little that i should go home get my things ready and when it becomes serious that I should come back but surprised that since yesterday till now.... Seems the little one isn't eager to come out again.
Mothers abeg is it normal cos am beginning to get worried.

Nothing worked for my ms it was a terrible moment for me because i hardly fall sick pre pregnancy i couldn't keep any food down but later sha i started managing bland foods (rice/yam without stew, amala with just ewedu) later graduated to ice tea chai one woman open shop on top my head for ice tea matter. Alhamdulilah its all gone now

Maybe you stressed yourself on that day, didn't the nurse tell you exactly how dilated you were, if it's 2cm, I hear some women stay that way for days. As long as the baby's movements are still ok just wait for other signs of labour. If you are too worried tho you can always go back to the hospital and ask them to check the baby.

Give her 7up or lucozade.
Plain rice or pasta without sauce or you could slice fresh tomatoes for her to eat it with.

Boiled chicken.
Peppersoup without the mix just add pepper and scent leaf.
Banana
Bread
Crackers.

Don't offer her any medication it's best her system rids itself of the bug.

Go see a doctor if you notice any of the below
Skin chills.
Blood in stool or vomit.
Fever or feverish feeling.
Vomiting or stooling up to 10 times in 24hrs.
Stomach pain that doesnt ease up after using the toilet.


She doesnt need to eat much at a time, just a little should be enough to enable her take her drugs.
Finally let her rest her feet up and get quality sleep.

you think so? sorry to say those antenatal pale don't know what they are saying, lemme give u an instance why do u think they over wrap babies abroad wen they are born? imagine u as an adult taking cold stuff everyday and u get cold due to it talkless of a tiny life growing inside of u, infact some doctors will advice u to stay away from anything cold throughout ur 1st and 2nd trimester and wen u get to 3rd u can take it in moderation please ooo don't let them confuse u that its old wives tales ooo some people lost their baby due to intake of cold water. no one can avoid anything cold during this global warming but moderation is the key not addiction moreover our body system are different what works for u might not work for others like wise our lo someone like me get cold and cattarh when i take too much cold water or expose my self to too much fan.

I was addicted to cold water and chilled milo to the point where my husband was very worried, we both went to my doc together to know if it was safe and doc said I should go ahead and take it.... My baby came out fine and strong. We all have different craven. But moderation is the key!

mama zaynie, i represent JUne mamas oo, but my team mate are always available when called upon, many of us have less than seven weeks to meet our Los, we are complications free, no loss, no complaint. we are group of mother's heading to the favour room to have supernatural deliveries. oya team JUNE, Sama mama zaynie HI. 38 weeks tomorrow and today is edd Na minus 2weeks you dey calulate?

As long as your ba by is still active all is well and good! Take walks, dance ,climb stairs eat dates, pineapple and have orgasmic sex to help rippen your cervix. All the best and safe delivery.
