Please I will be attempting Corporate Reporting in ICAN examinations. I am writing one at a time, because of time.

Can anyone suggest a good tutor centre for CORPORATE REPORTING in Lagos...note CORPORATE REPORTING ALONE, I will write others subsequently..

Also which textbooks can I get.

I also learnt there is tutor centre, that the only subject they teach is Corporate reporting. Is anyone aware of this or knows this centre.

You will be exempted in quantitative techniques and business finance. You will write 3 papers in foundation, 6 papers in skill and 5 papers in final stage.

A quick question please, for a non-accounting graduate, which is the best/safest choice, is it hrough ATS or doing Foundation?

As both will get you to the skills level (application/intermediate).

Also for the foundation level, will you be given a certificate afterwards like the ATS which you can include in your portfolio/cv

I'm asking these questions on behalf of a friend, he has an OND certificate in Accounting and he is through with BSC accounting at NOUN as well but he hasn't gotten his certificate yet and doesn't have NYSC certificate. He is planning on starting ICAN, pls what level do you think he will be starting with and would like to know what will cost him as well... I'd appreciate if you or any other person can help answer this questions

The person will start from SKILL LEVEL to write 4 courses out of 6 courses: if his /her B.Sc./HND (Accounting) is obtained from ICAN accredited Institutions in Nigeria
, which will require a payment called exemption fee about 53k,the last time I checked,, having paid for registration, the person will also have to pay for exams,, has access to choose either to sit for 1,or 2 or 3,or 4papers depending on his or her strength, financially or academic wise

These are the course to sit for
B1. Financial Reporting
B4. Performance Management
B5. Public Sector Accounting
and Finance
B6. Management, Governance
and Ethics

******But I doubt if NOUN is accredited...*****


But if his or her B.Sc./HND (Accounting) is obtained from recognised Institutions in Nigeria but not yet accredited by ICAN. He/she will start from FOUNDATION LEVEL by writing 2 courses out of 5 in the level

MANAGEMENT INFORMATION where only 3 papers/course will be exempted, with a payment too,, exception fee of #19,900,, having done with registration too..
