So, I've made up my mind to Change my course to either POLITICAL SCIENCE OR SOCIOLOGY OR ANY OTHER COURSE(based on your advice)

USING LAST YEAR'S CUT OFF MARKS AS A CASE STUDY WHICH COURSE SHOULD I CHANGE TO?

It is your own calculation that is wrong. The points for O'level results is as follows,
A1- 10 points
B2- 9 points
B3- 8 points
C4- 7 points
C5- 6 points
C6- 5 points
Just use the above legend to calculate your O'level and divide your JAMB score by 8. This is the format UNILAG used last year.

Initially I applied for petrochemical engineering in RSUST but due to my low jamb score I intend changing course/institution to computer science and mathematics/ university of portharcourt. I've browse their statistics of last year (2016) number of applicants, and it's 48 people that applied for the course in the school.

your score too low buh its only good for Education courses

Coming to the climax of Jamb utme examination, there are HIGH's and LOW's, Shattered Dream and Acheived Success, Hopefulness and Hopelessness......These are time where alternatives are sought for, Plan B is created, and lots of questions are asked.

No sooner will the change of course/institution form be out! Some jambites look unto this as their only HOPE of securing admission!.

Mistakes they say is "inevitable but can be corrected". here is the chance to correct your mistake!.

Now pay attention, As at d last time i checked Uniabuja is only partly accredited by d mdcn[medical dental council of nigeria] meaning that they are not fully acreditted to Run mbbs program!.....That put your study on a fence!.

If it works out, that day finally get full accreditation then kudos! but if not, u wuld spend a lot of years without graduating!...


Nevertheless 262 is not a bad score, but definately, don't expect 1st batch!....Am not ruining ur admission chances, but that the basic truth!.....

If you ask me i'll say u should change your institution to a state university with lower competition! Dat way u have a good chance of getting ur Mbbs!

All courses in u.i and unilag are competitive!....u're jamb score is really low!....switching to unilag would be a precious waste of your money!.....but switching to a state uni will foster your admission chances!

sis, it isn't!....Some people were clustered at a cbt centre today for the change of course form, but day were told to come back 2maro or the next!......So grab a stool, sit and let me do the running up-and-down!.....When it is out, The full procedure would be posted here!....Just stay in touch!
