Hmm. After I learnt DJing I watched some videos on youtube just for curiosity. Those videos are made by half baked amateur DJs. And they'll fvck up your orientation... There's no need to rush. Just learn it by yourself... In total it took me 3-4 months to fully learn the basics of DJing. Its just practice and thinking... Also record your sessions... That's all.

P.S:::::} if you want an easier guide just refer to the manual to quicken your learning

Exactly bro... Just be friends with any DJ you know is close to your place and you can easily access. From there you can start up something

I feel the competition might not be fair coz they put this rep your hood thing in which based on the amount of people that turn up to support you and the votes you get, such person would win.
So if you're a popular dj in your hood and you're not good, based on the popularity you have there's a big chance that such person would win.
Which wouldn't be fair to other people who are really good but don't have the popularity.
