Hi guys, been on ghost mode on nairaland for a long time, but writers like Biafrabushboy and the rest have given me the courage to come out and write my own stories. I am amateur so criticism is very much welcome. Enjoy!!!



Prologue

She stared blankly at the ceiling while he rode her ferociously with the rage of a wounded animal. Deji did not seem to mind that she was not in tune with the lovemaking, he was satisfied that the damsel he had his eyes on was finally his, for a paltry sum of 5,000 naira!!! Diana's life took a turn for the worst the day she lost her family in a ghastly motor accident. Her mum, dad and two brothers were gone in a twinkle of a second. That stormy day marked the begining of her woes.
After her parents died, her paternal uncle moved into her home with his entire family and took over everything. She was relegated to the boys quarters by her uncle's wife who had been faced with sqalour, and the excitement of being the owner of such property overwhelmed her. Sometimes, Diana wondered if her uncle had planned the accident at the rate at which he moved into her house, barely a week after the burial.
She was too stunned to mind though, the shock of loosing her entire family haunted her, she barely ate or slept. Not that anyone noticed; her uncle and his family were too busy basking in their new found wealth.

One evening two months later, crying her heart out, she fell into a disturbed sleep. Diana saw her brothers playing football in the field close to their house. Their laughter pierced her heart, as they passed the ball back and forth. Upon sighting her, the last born Olumide called to her "Nene, come watch us play". She jerked up and looked around and sighed heavily, it was only a dream. For the first time in months, Diana got dressed and decided to take a stroll down the street to the field where she dreamt she saw her brothers with the hope that she would see hey them there, that they were not in the car and probably hid from her as they always did.
As she hurried to the gate, Aliyu their gateman saw her and sprang to his feet.
"Aunty Dina, where you dey go nau?" (He never could pronounce her name properly)
She mumbled incoherently and rushed out of the gate before he could stop her. As apporached the field, she heard peals of laughter and she hastened her footsteps. A smile lit her face, yes she told them but the would 'nt believe. Olumide and Ayo did not die. Nobody believed her but she would show them who was right.
She stopped dead in her tracks when she got to the field, for the faces she saw there had no semblance with her dead brothers. What terrified her was the leer on their faces as soon as they sighted her. Months of mourning did nothing to dim her beauty. At 17, she had the body that every woman envied. Her well rounded figure and the innocence gave an appeal that men found irresistable.

"Hey baby, looking for me?" one of the guys said to her. "No, no" she mumbled as she backed out of the field hastily. The guys ran after her and pulled her back to the field. "sisioge come back now, come and play ball with us" They laughed and they dragged her to the centre of the field. She struggled to release herself from her captors, but they were way too powerful, and all 6 of them. Her efforts amused the boys and they gripped her tightly, she started to beg them. "Please, i only came to look for my brothers, Ayo and Olumide, please let me go". This made the boys laugh harder. "Guy, shey your name na Olumide?" one of them asked the other. "Yes na", he answered "and this my nigga here na Ayo. Wetin you dey find us for?". She continued to plead with them, but they wouldn't let go, she knew she had to find a way to escape...

Diana stumbled into her room blindly. She rushed into the bathroom and let the water flow all over her body as she wept. She was raped!!!
She had dreamt of giving herself to Mr right, and her days had been filled with fantasises of her wedding night, how her husband would look into her eyes when he discovers her virginity. That dream had been shattered!!! She let the tears flow freely, till she could cry no more. She just sat under the shower weakly till she was jolted at the knocks on her door.
"Nene, open the door. She heard her uncle's voice. Nene was the pet name given to her by her godmother, Mrs Uluoma who was her mum's best friend. She slowly picked herself up, and got dressed in her nightie. On her way to the door, she contemplated if she should tell her uncle what had happened, so justice would be served afterall, he was her late father's brother and he would care what happened to his niece. The look of indifference on her uncle's face made her change her mind.
"Nene, Aliyu said you rushed into the compound crying, what is it again?" He asked impatiently as he surveyed the room.
"Uhm, uncle Bode..." She said but he cut her short
"anyways, i just came to check on you. Its been months since your parents and brothers died, it is about time you stopped crying. Afterall, they were not related to you and you don't see the rest of us killing ourselves over what happened. They are gone and no amount of tears can bring them back". He said curtly as he made to leave the room.
Diana was shocked, the words hit her harder than a punch from a boxer. "Uncle, how dare you say that to me? They were my immediate family and you talk like they meant nothing". She started to sob.
Bode was infuriated, "imagine this little girl talking to me like i am her age mate", he thought to himself. As he moved towards her to shake some senses into her head, he stopped and stared. She was wearing a flimsy nightie and her rounded figure was well outlined.
Bode glared till he felt his joystick rising. He turned and left her room, wondering why he had never noticed he had such a goddess under the same roof till now....

Bode paced his room deep in thought, his wife lay on the bed, fast asleep and oblivious of her husband's unrest. He could not shake off the image of Diana in his head, not like he was trying to. A sleek womanizer, his sexcapades was well hidden from his wife as he explored anything and everything in skirts. His mind was filled with lustful images of Diana.
"No, no, Bode come off it. She is your niece, your late brother's daughter" He said to himself in a flimsy excuse to bring back logical reasoning. He looked at his wife on the bed, trying to picture himself making love to her instead of the goddess he just saw in Diana but it did'nt work. After 5 years of marriage, and 3 kids, his wife looked like a grandmother at the age of 35. She was unkempt and all his attempts to mould her into the woman he desired failed. Her lack of concern for her looks pushed him to the many daughters of Eve roaming around, and her blind trust for him made cheating even more easier.
Bode's mind was in turmoil as he carefully got into bed beside his wife, turned his back to her and went into a sleep filled with images of Diana.

The next morning, Bode called his wife into the sitting room.
"Mama Ibukun, we have to discuss about Diana. you know she is my late's brother's daughter and the rightful heiress of all that we have right now. It is very bad that we made her stay in the BQ, i think she should move back to the main house".
"Lai lai, over my dead body", she retorted. "There is no how that blood sucking demon will enter this house, after she has succeeded in wiping out her family, do you think i will let her do the same to mine? Olorun maje (God forbid).
"Mama Ibukun take it easy now, she is not a witch, she is just a victim of circumstances. We need to move her back, so my late brother's spirit will be at ease and not unlease some terror on us. Did i tell you i dreamt of him last night?" He lied.
"Ha, mogbe (i am in trouble), that is a bad omen oko mi (my husband). We need to call the pastor immediately. She jumped up and raced to the room to pick her phone. Bode ran after her and held her roughly "look here woman, cut out your theatrics, it is nothing spiritual. Just a sign that we need to treat Diana better. Go get her and her things to the guest room. She can stay there from now. If i keep seeing my late brother at least i will be at peace that i treat his daughter right. Go do so now" he let go of her arm while she grudging goes to the BQ.
Bode could hardly hide his delight, his phase one of his plan has been achieved...

Diana stared at the house that had become unfamiliar to her over the months, she could not recall the last time she stepped into the main house. She looked round the sitting room and all the family pictures were gone, on the walls hung new pictures of her uncle and his family. She swore under her breath and cursed death for taking away everything that was once hers.
She turned round and saw Uncle Bode looking at her from the staircase, he looked so happy to see her, which came as a surprise because after the demise of her parents, what he felt for her was indifference.
"Welcome back Nene, i am so sorry for making you move to the BQ, it was for yur own good. you know my kids are still very young and your bouts of depression would likely rub off on them". He drew her closer and hugged her, tightly. He felt himself get hard against her, and quickly moved away before she noticed. "Control yourself Bode, there is more than enough time to feel her up now that she is under the same roof with you", he thought happily.

Diana moved to the guest room, and sat on the bed, and began crying quietly. She could not bring herself to think of the incident of the previous day. She clawed at her skin, trying to erase the feeling of those brutes touching her, their laughter ringing in her ears as they took turns with her.
She had imagined her first time to be soft, as Mr Right would be gentle, but those animals roughly took away her jewel. She continued to cry, and prayed that the devil should eat their hearts out for causing her pain. She was so engrossed in her pain, she did not notice when her aunt came in.
"Bode, come and see your neice is crying again o, i don't have time for this rubbish, iranu." She called out to her husband. She moved over to where Diana sat and said to her "iya aje, (Mother witch) why are you crying now? You are calling out to your meeting members abi? I heard you feed on sorrows and other people's unhappiness. Let me just warn you, you better hold your many meetings outside my home and nothing must happen to my family or else you will see" and with that she went out of the room.

Diana just looked on as her uncle's wife walked out. Being called a witch had no effect on her, she had seen enough Nollywood movies to know that such names are attributed to unfortunate people like her when they are caught in some situations. She braced herself for another round of abuses when the door opened, expecting to see her uncle's wife, but it was uncle Bode who came in holding a tray of food and a glass of juice....

"Nene, i want you to stop brooding. What happened is a big loss to us all, but it has happened and no amount tears can bring back the dead" He said as he gently set the tray of food on the table and handed her the glass of juice. She took it quitely, momentarily dazed by his kindness. she looked at him and thought to herself, if it was not the same Uncle Bode that spoke harshly to her the day before. She sipped the juice and set the glass on the table.
"Thank you uncle Bode, but i'm not really hungry, i want to sleep a little" She said as she leaned back on her bed. Bode sat beside her and held her hand.
"Nene, i know you will not sleep. You just want me out of your room so you can start crying. Well, just so you may know, i will always be around you. You are now my responsibility and i will make sure you always have a smile on your face. Your late father's spirit will not rest if i do not take care of you". Diana started to sob at the mention of her dad.
"Don't Nene, don't cry my darling" Bode said as he drew her closer and enveloped her in his arms. "Jesus, this girl is so soft" He thought to himself as he felt her breasts against his chest. Throughout the day, Bode could think of nothing except Diana. He imagined himself doing all sort of nasty things to her. The thought of him sucking her luscious boobs sent a shiver down his spine and he almost ran over a street hawker.

She vowed to find a way, as it had been her father's wish for his children to be educated.
"Nene, how are you darling?" she heard Uncle Bode say as he strode into her room holding four shopping bags.
She struggled to hide her irritation "Good evening uncle, i'm fine".
"Are you sure? Oya come and hug me" He said as he spread his arms wide.

"I'm fine uncle" she replied as she laid on the bed.

"How are you today?, well i came to inform you that your aunt and cousins travelled for the weekend, it is just you and i in the house. You don't expect me to cook for you so i will needyou to make us breakfast. Also, we will be going out tonight, it's friday and i don't normally stay in and i can't leave you alone in the house. my mind will not be at peace and i need to enjoy myself fully". He said as he sat on her bed, watching her every move.
"Well uncle Bode, i will cook if that is all you want, but i am not in the mood to go out just yet besides i won't be alone. Aliyu is just at the gate and i can call him if i need anything" She waited for him to leave so she could dress up.
"lai lai, swe are going out and that is final. Do you want to disobey me? What about the clothes i bought for you yesterday, did you like them?"
She smiled, "yes i did uncle, they are very lovely, thank you".
"Very good, you can wear one of them out tonight. I have to go settle somethings now, i will be back by 5. we will leave by 7 so get ready". He strode out happily. His plan was in full gear.

The joy Bode felt as he drove out of the compound had no bounds. "I gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good good night" he sang happily as he cruised down the road to his office. He did not have much to do, but he had to get out of the house to avoid doing anything that might ruin his well laid out plans. with the house empty, there was no hindrance and he wanted to do it right. He could hardly concentrate and kept glancing at the time. As soon as it was a quarter to five, he practically raced down the stairs, jumped into his car and was home in no time.

Diana looked out the window and saw her uncle drive in. It had taken her almost the whole day to make up her mind on going out and picking the right outfit for the occasion. Finaaly she settled for a black off shoulder jumsuit
"This should be okay, black shows that i am still mourning and the style is suitable for any outing". She powderd her face lightly and waited for him to come up. "Good evening uncle" she said as he opened the door, without knocking.
Bode stood speechless for what seemed like eternity and finally responded "Good evening Diana, i just came to check on you but i see you are ready, we still have a few hours to go so just relax. let me go freshen up" and he walked out.
Diana was startled. Uncle Bode had never called her Diana before, so she wondered why he used the name now. "Oh well, maybe he had a tough day" as she turned on the television for the first time in months.
As Bode walked up the stairs, he struggled to breathe. The damsel he saw could not have been born by man. In the few minutes he was in her room, he had taken in all her features. She was wearing one of the outfits he bought for her in the week. It had looked very nice then, but seeing it on her, he knew she made the outfit look even better. He noticed that she did not wear a bra underneath, but her firm breasts stood high and proud, the perky nipples begging to be sucked. "Listen to me Diana, i need you to think of me as your friend. I know i am family, but i am also your friend. be free to come up to me anytime you need something, or if you wanna talk okay? Tonight i want you to have fun, and it will happen often, so please loosen up." He said as he held her hand.
They got to an exclusive bar, where a couple of his friends were waiting with their girlfriends.
"Baba nla, how far you na. where you see this mammy water?" They shouted as soon as they sighted him with Diana.
"Guys make una shift go front abeg, na that my brother pikin be this so all of una hands off because i no trust una. Una no dey use eye see woman" He offered her a seat and sat next to her.
"Guy forget that thing, you wan marry your niece ni, na person go still drill am so all this your protective measure na wash" they laughed and ordered drinks.
Diana was very uncomfortable, being the youngest there although she could easily pass as a 25 year old lady with her stature. Bode offered her a glass of whisky but she declined, she had never taken alcohol in her life.
Bode was a little miffed, because his plan included getting her drunk but how was he to achieve that if she refused to drink. He decided to play it safe. he ordered a bottle of soft drink for her which she sipped slowly. Bode and his friends exchanged banters and the table became very lively as time passed. Diana said nothing, but the spirit at the table started to get to her so she laughed at their jokes occasionally.
Bode ordered for a bottle of irish cream and poured some for her.
"Uncle, i don't want alcohol really, i have never drank it in my my life" she pushed it back at him
"Come on Diana, this is not really alcoholic, can't you see it is like milk? It is very sweet, trust me you will like it. Just take a little sip and if you don't like it you can drop it" he handed her the glass and she took a sip.
"wow, this is nice uncle" as she continued to sip.. Bode smiled happily. "Drink on my girl, this whole bottle is for you"
Diana continued to sip and converse with the other ladies at the table. When Bode noticed that her laughter was more spontaneous and she seemed to be loosing consciousness, he decided it was time to go home.
In the car, Diana kept pointing at nothing and everything, laughing . Bode kept mute but his mind was filled with joy. He had her where he wanted her.
He drove into the compound and helped a semi conscious Diana to her room. He was about to lay her on the bed when she knocked down the photo album on her beside table and a picture of her family fell out. She picked it up, took a long look and started to cry...

Bode was confused. He was not one to believe in ghosts or anything supernatural but the picture falling was too much of a coincidence. He froze as he stared at his late brother's smiling face on the picture, and he almost raced out of the room in fear. Almost, for Bode was not one who let anything stand in his way, especially if a woman was involved. He quietly took the picture from the sobbing Diana, and enveloped her in his arms, in an effort to console her. Any fear he had felt earlier melted away as he held her in his arms, and he silently cursed at the picture for interfering.
"Diana, stop crying please. Just stop it or you will hurt yourself. you have grieved too much and your parents would want you to move on. Do not offend the dead, let them rest in peace", he mumbled as he put her head to his chest.
She looked up at him, tears streaming down her face "why did it happen, why?"
Bode looked down at her, his mind in turmoil. It was not easy having her press so close and answer reasonably. Her face was so close to his, he could not resist so he reached down and kissed her, holding her tightly.
At first Diana was stunned and tried to pull back, but he held on. Her mind was fuzzy and the alcohol she had did not help matters, so she succumbed to the kiss. Encouraged, Bode pulled her head back and deepened the kiss. He cupped her face in his palms and kissed her lips lightly from one end to the other, then bit her lower lip lightly. Diana shivered violently. She had never been kissed in such manner, infact, she had never shared a deep kiss before as her parents were very protective of her and did not allow her have any boyfriend, their stance was that she was still to young to be exposed to such. The only romance she had discreetly involved herself in back in secondary school did not go further than light kisses on the lips.
She held on to Bode who continue to kiss her passionately. He pulled down her jumsuit and her perky boobs bounced out. He glared at them for a second and cupped one, sucking the other ferociously. Diana's moans fired him and he pushed her onto the bed and straddled her.
