I'm a Gionee fan and I just bought the Gionee A1 and Gionee m6.. ..... ..I used the Gionee m5 for a week before it was stolen.
As much as I like Gionee products now, I am not impressed by the Gionee A1. It is not exactly like the way it is advertised!
It bothers me to imagine how a mid range/high range phone won't have a dedicated notification LED light to show information about battery charging, full battery, application alerts etc.
At this age and time it's totally disappointing if I can't know when my phone battery is fully charged until I wake up the phone from black screen. .... ...
95k for a phone is not cheap!!!!!!! Gionee need to redeem their status for quality products!

I'm not satisfied with the much praised cameras, screen quality of the Gionee A1.........
I wish I didn't buy it and do with my classical Gionee m6 which is far better in all ways than the Gionee A1!
The LCD IPS screen technology on the Gionee A1 is by far less quality compared to the SUPER AMOLED screen on the marathon m series phones.......

Please, I am begging Gionee fans to advise them not to make phones like the Gionee A1 again! It's not good enough at the price range above 90k!

It's a good phone, no doubt. But it's NOT a budget phone, at least in Nigeria. Most Nigerians do not earn up to 95k in a month.
