Am in the same situation like yours...

This is the first fault my car had and It stopped me half way...
I noticed my car overheating while going to owerri...
I stopped more than 3 times along the way to top water...
Yesterday as I was leaving owerri, I went to an auto electrician who discovered that the fan is not working for almost 3 days now, he disconnected the thermostat and the fan started working, he told me to go to on its ha that the car will take me there for repair...
Along the way, u started hearing " Kim kim" like sound on my Engine as I parked by the road side, the car stopped kicking.
This morning I will be going there with my mechanic along Ukwuorji to know what is actually wrong...
Am afraid that the top gasket might be affected and all those fake mechanics should not scatter my 2 months old car...
Any suggestion is welcomed people...

Or recommendation of a good mechanic

I have never tired this before here but u want to see if anyone could help, u just acquired this Honda pilot,2008 model,first I observed that when I told it to car wash,while the car washer was trying to clean the battery side,due to this,the nagivation screen in the car is tell me to imput password,which I don't even know if it has any before I acquired it,will trying to search if I can get what to do in the manual,I observed that the SRS doesn't indicate after ignition (II) which I read that it's very bad as sometimes must have been the issue with either the Airbag or the seatbelt,can anyone tell me how to fix this
