Bleed it. Peugeots have bleed points along their cooling system to expel air trapped in the system.

I have done this over the weekend and the problem persist. The mechanic started suggesting removing thermostat, or buying relays to increase fan speed... I am just lost of what to do.

I observed that when I drive for few minutes, the car heats up and temp overshoots. I park, open the bonnet and observe hot water pouring from the reserve water can. I touch the hose connecting the radiator to the engine and it's very hot, but the lower hose is a bit warm, is it possible that the thermostat is stuck? One mechanic has already started suggesting that my gasket is damaged?

three things

Water pump
Air trapped.
water is not circulating, if your water pump fails that will happen.

Meeeen!
Am in the same situation like yours...

This is the first fault my car had and It stopped me half way...
I noticed my car overheating while going to owerri...
I stopped more than 3 times along the way to top water...
Yesterday as I was leaving owerri, I went to an auto electrician who discovered that the fan is not working for almost 3 days now, he disconnected the thermostat and the fan started working, he told me to go to on its ha that the car will take me there for repair...
Along the way, u started hearing " Kim kim" like sound on my Engine as I parked by the road side, the car stopped kicking.
This morning I will be going there with my mechanic along Ukwuorji to know what is actually wrong...
Am afraid that the top gasket might be affected and all those fake mechanics should not scatter my 2 months old car...
Any suggestion is welcomed people...

Or recommendation of a good mechanic

Wait wait wait!!!! 3 days no radiator fan and you didn't notice?
Well, your fan stopped working isn't because your thermostat is faulty. Its wiring could be making a loose contact or no contact, fuse might be blown or even your CTS could be faulty and telling your ECU engine is totally cold hence no radiator fan coming up.

By the way, your toyota IPSUM isn't an SUV. Its a minivan aka space bus.

There is no advantage in buying a saloon car that has a V6 engine, so follow the advice of your mechanic cos cost of petrol has gone fru the roof.buy anything less than a 2 liter engine.(4 plugs)

I have never tired this before here but u want to see if anyone could help, u just acquired this Honda pilot,2008 model, first I observed that when I told it to car wash, while the car washer was trying to clean the battery side, due to this, the nagivation screen in the car is tell me to imput password, which I don't even know if it has any before I acquired it,will trying to search if I can get what to do in the manual,I observed that the SRS doesn't indicate after ignition (II) which I read that it's very bad as sometimes must have been the issue with either the Airbag or the seatbelt, can anyone tell me how to fix this

The issue is very common in Honda once you remove the battery, the car radio system locks.
Solution:
If the original manual that come with with car is still available, search through it for code. It is normally a 4 digit code.
Secondly, contact a good radio technician especially those in auto market, they have a way of permanently removing the code

Hi all,

I realised there is a need for us to have a thread where we can say it very loud. Hence, the creation of this room.

In this room, we can derail as much as we want, discuss off topics, etc.

But please, no derogatory words, sales, adverts, spams or posting. Other than these, fire on!

*Note that this room is not for posting our normal car issues and seeking solutions for them. We have the entire section, outside this room, for that.

Moderator.

Looking for a 2016/2017 minivan, gasoline or petrol is irrelevant but the car has to has family package and comfort. Can someone help me with a full list and specs.
