As funny as Nwaamaikpe sounds, he has a point. There are some medical problems that you will have without tests showing anything that you will wish something shows up even if it's HIV. I'm speaking from experience.
Lol. Same here. I am going through similar situations to what he is going through although I am now feeling better, I wish worst than HIV at some point.

OP, may God bless you with good health.

1. Trust in God that you will be healed.

2. Positive mindset. As hard as it may be, stop obsessing about your health, stop looking out similar symptoms and disease on the internet. Avoid googling that symptom. You will end up adding to your stress level and anxiety will only worsen your situation. See a psychologist if you think there is the need.

3. If you had poor eating habit and lifestyle. It's time to change. Eat on time and eat right. Get decent hours of sleep.

4. Time to lay off self medication and see professionals who deal with your symptoms. You have been on medication for too long, it's not very good. Ask a professional about taking a good supplement like CENTRUM particularly.

Lastly, know yourself and know how to shed stress. God be with you. Find happiness, find good happy people around you, find hobbies to keep you distracted. Godspeed.

shocked

I can only imagine your disappointment going weekly for HIV tests and it is still negative.

Don't worry,
It will become positive soon then you won't have to visit labs weekly.
That was not encouraging

Have you tried superfoods?

Have you checked your dosha and tried to eat for it?

How about pH dieting?

The first time I became aware of me falling sick was in 2007. I was 26 at the time. Since then it has been a myriad of medical troubles.

It has been cycles of malaria, bacterial infections, disc problems and headache. Every night, I take drugs before I could be able to sleep. I always have antimalarials, antibiotics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants handy. If malaria symptoms occur, I would take antimalarials and there would be improvement within minutes. And would then complete the dosage in 3 days. By fourth day, symptoms of bacteria infection would occur; I would take ciprofloxacin and get relieved within minutes. Once I complete the dosage, headache would strike, and once aspirin is taken, I get well. But I would keep repeating aspirin every night until gastric ulceration sets in. I would then buy omeprasole and cimetidine to treat ulcer. While ulcer treatment is ongoing, malaria would strike again, and I would take antimalarials. If antimalarials don't work, I would know that the symptoms are bacterial and take antibiotic. If there is no relief, I would combine antimalarials and antibiotic and there would be a relief. It has been like this since 2007. I don't go to hospital again because I have grown to know these symptoms and what doctors would prescribe.

For the past 2 weeks, I have been battling 'herniated disc' problem in my lower back. It started the day I bent down suddenly and I heard a snapping sound at my back bone. I started using norflex, calcium supplement and diclofenac. I feel mild relief because I can't stop my daily hustle to rest while the disc heals. If I dont work in a day, I won't eat or pay bills.

Note that I undergo HIV test almost weekly.

How do the poor tackle medical problems in this hellhole of a country?

a sad one indeed. but Fortunately I have been treating weird cases with positive results. and note those kind of tablets you're taking is not a solution but a temporary deterrent. I'll like you to reach mee and we'll talk further. trust, try and see

So sorry to read about your ailments. I can empathise with what you're going through.
From what I could discern, this screams depression all over. I've been there before, and even then I just couldn't entertain the possibility that it was actually depression. The thing about depression is that it sets in slowly and silently and it actually affects immune system a lot.

Truth is everybody handles life differently and some people are more susceptible than others. The timing of the onset of your ailments fits in perfectly with midlife crises.

Why don't you try to visit a psychologist instead, you've got nothing to lose.

It is well with you.

@OP, I feel your situation, I have not passed through such but how I survived the last quarter of 2016 is still a miracle for me, I experienced so many health challenges, to be honest with you, I could not remember how it all started, I was constantly having headache, body pains, hotness of the body, some movement like ant around my body, so many strange symptoms,I was terrified, I went for every possible test you can think of,I kept repeating HIV test almost every week,I went for every test that has to do with infection,I took so many self medication when I thought the one given to me in the hospital was not working,I kept googling every symptom, every natural medicine, I was taking, any night I sleep for one hour was a privilege to me,my BP was hitting close to 200/110,I thought I was gonna die any of the night. It was horrible for me,I suffered alone as I couldn't even explain my sickness to anyone. I knew what people pass through when they say they are depressed, life was not having any meaning to me, I took black seed,I took honey,my tongue was biting, I cant explain, My mind was messed up. BUT one day I took a decision

I discarded ALL the drugs I was taking, I took hold of my mind, I utilized autosuggestion to bring life back to my self, I stopped thinking of any symptoms, I stopped dwelling on them, I stopped giving them a thought, I was taking more of water and fruits, I consciously decided to work on my mind, I got hold of it,the less I gave those things thought,I discovered that most of those symptoms started disappearing,I just discovered that I was gradually getting back my self, the hotness stopped, the moving object stopped, the biting tongue stoped,I started getting normal again

Sometimes, the psychology around sickness is what really kill, so work on your self, you have been feeding so much chemical to your system, that might be your problem
Wow thank God for your life. You are a testimony. You should write a comprehensive post or book on how you were able to tame your mind

Go to a teaching hospital near you for specialist consult. Loading your self with drugs will damage your liver. The problem with your disc may be a warning that your kidney is gradually feeling the impact of the trauma caused by self medication. Warning: some drugs can make you deaf also. Get a proper diagnosis from a specialist and get treated. NB: Private hospitals won't help you at this stage. Stop smoking and alcohol intake.

There is no scientific proof of the effects of this, I do not need to argue but buy a bottle of Apple Cider vinegar mix with Lemon, honey and hot water. I do take it every morning not to treat any ailment but it has been good.

This is very effective. Apple cider is 1500, honey 1500, lemon is one 100 naira. This can help your system. it's helping me in different ways.
Please where can someone get Apple Cider vinegar?

I empathize with you are going through. I once had a similar problem but did not last as long. I am not a medical personnel per se but I would say your system mentally and physically is compromised. You need to stop taking so much medication each one of them has side effects. you also need to detox them from your body. search the net for good detox you can follow. Very important change your food and go natural. Reduce carbohydrates. Millet, sweet potatoes, Acha etc are better than other carbs. Stay away from processed foods of any type including spices. Eat Fruits, vegetables in large quantities preferably raw or slightly cooked( Vegetables). I cannot write all you need to do here but you have to reclaim your body by going back to nature. This has helped many. Search the net you can also contact the Roman Catholic Benedictine Monks at Ewu near Auchi for help. It is not difficult once you get into it you will not want to stop. You can do it.
Turn to God tell sincerely all that is happening to you.Spend more time in prayer, there is nothing impossible for God. Do not despair.
If you are a Christian and a Catholic meet the Charismatic Renewal members in your parish for help.

All the best

Read your Bible very well and pray for the spirit of understanding.
Read Books by Men and women of God.
Listen to Audio or Video Messages of Men of God.
