But i moved on since then...

I cold emailed the company. Got invited for Test then interview. It was more for the experienced say 2 years. I was able to prove my knowledge and skills desired for the position as an inexperienced fellow. I conversed very well, made the interviewers have a great laugh.

The first one... I got it because i was the only one that would accept their pay at that time. (I was a starter)
The second one... I had resigned from my previous job and was already teaching while i was searching for job so i had to teach my interviewers what i was already teaching my WAEC and JAMB students.
The third one... We wrote exam. I excelled. Was called for interview. I out-shined my peers cos i had taught (teacher) before. So i was very conversant with almost any thing coupled with my previous experience.


Just follow this steps and you won't regret it.

Many wait for job posts and adverts. I do advise individuals to know companies of choice. Reach out to recruiters and managers in a well composed email. Who knows, they can be lucky.

A cold email is an unsolicited e-mail that is sent to a receiver (in this case a recruiter or HR Manager) without prior contact or a request for information previously.

Google can help. It's simply means writing an email to someone you don't have a relationship with. In the mail, you explain your interests. More like an expression of Interest.

I got my first job by showing a willingness to learn, till today I don't know how I applied, plus I was the only one at the interview.
Currently Searching since I'm done with Masters and running a business. I would start sending cold emails for both... I pray I'm Lucky, strike that Favoured.

Saw the thread on nairaland; clicked and register on the portal, uploaded the necessary docs, I got called for the exams and pass, after some months; I've even forgotten I wrote the exam, I was called ffor interview and the rest was history!

Let me reveal a little secret to job-hunters. The fastest way to receive is to give. It has worked and is still working.

Hell yeah! I knew I had no option during the job interview, i wasn't gonna settle for less!

But what got me to the interview room? Composure! This ensured I didn't fret during the phone interview and answered the questions asked briefly and aptly.

What got me that far? Uniqueness! My CV is always the pick of the lot, always stands out in a stack of resumes. And yeah, it's self edited!

Im just entering my 3rd week in a job. I can say I got the job because of Self Confidence. Its a job I never had any experience on in all my 2years plus of working.

#Self Confidence and believe in yourself that you can do the job, dedicate yourself to personal research and trainings too if you don't have experience before setting out for the interview and above all, put God first in all your plans.
