Never have I expected a long term loyalty from Neymar (He's a Brazilian) , Just didn't see his exit from the club coming so early . They shouldn't beg him , truly like someone pointed out earlier - ONLY MESSI IS BEGABLE . Barcelona fans should brace up for a tumultuous 17/18 season . Despite all the news flying about, I'm quite not bothered because I believe it is just a player's power play, his management definitely want something. I read that if Barcelona had bought Lima, Neymar's father would have earned a huge sum of money. |

what the fork am i reading in this thread. that barcelona will suffer at the hands of madrid next season, just becaus neymar wants to leave? neymar is an important player, 'no doubt' but b4 neymar came to barcelona, i remembered that barcelona defeated madrid with pedro 5 goals to zero, we defeated them in semi finals of champions league and we have been destroying them b4 neymar came. AND that is what we will continue to do irrespective of which player we buy to replace him. "ONE thing about barcelona is that our style of play makes it difficult 4 clubs to defeat us. our youth system needs to be given a chance, i said sometime ago that cuenca, tello, bojan should never have been sold and people here came 4 my head saying who is cuenca, tello, bojan compare to neymar and i just smh. "Those guys were our future and our eyes, barcelona sold their badge and principles just because of one certain neymar elsewhere. pedro was loyal, good and fast, he did his best 4 d team, all we should have done was to show him support, encourage him, bring in more youth players like thiago and co and blend them with the senior players. "we are barcelona and frankly speaking, i wish we can stop buying players 4 an unreasonable sum of money and instead bring in more youth players. Dlordsamurai: While I agree Barça should look inwards a bit more (The Grimaldo issue pained me), We have to acknowledge the fact that the quality of La Masia graduates have dropped. Cuenca, Tello, Bojan etc have not proven the board wrong for selling them, compare them to Pique and Fabregas who Camp Nou had to buy back, Im still not convinced with the Delofeu signing. Compare the quality of play of new guys like Samper, Halilovic, Palencia, Alena etc to the play of Busquet,Pedro,Pique etc, when they were of their age, the diff is clear. 1 Like |

Whatever happens, I just pray Naymar leaves, I don't care if barca does not get a replacement for him, abeg, the guy should just be on his way already. I never liked him in the first place, how left winger go dribble across the pitch enter right wing without passing, he should just go and continue in PSG, wishing him all the best. |
