Reports from Owerri the Imo State capital has revealed that the much hyped #ourmumudondo rally sponsored and lead by my uncle Charles Oputa has flopped in his own home ground. The reason is not far fetched as the people he involved in organizing the event are PDP sympathizers while majority of residents prefer either a neutral protest or make do with the present arrangement. This same disappointment has been met by IPOB in all their attempts to win the heart of neutral Imolites simply because they sound like PDP sympathizers going by their utterances.

Instead of the IPOB youths to fight for good governance, they are shouting biafra like a mad goat. Nnamdi Kanu will not end up well for misleading the innocent people. Biafra is dead

Haters think that to gain influence and command respect like Nnamdi Kanu is by typing gibberish on social media.

Even if Awolowlo, Abiola and Oduduwa return from the fangs of hellfire and host a rally with Tinubu, Osunbande and Obasanjo, they won't come close to anything like this.. cheesy cheesy

Kanu is the greatest black man walking; get that into your thick empty skulls. wink cheesy

It's a flop according to the organizers as people refused to join leaving only those directly involved parading on the streets all by themselves.

Nawao. How do you define flop at Abagworo? You only succeeded in creating more awareness of the said protest. I don't see this protest in any way targeted at IMO State govt which you had sworn to defend with the last drop of your blood. Similar protests have been carried in Abuja, Lagos and now IMO. Everything is not fight na. This protest is very successful from what is seen in this pics. Tell your confused governor that we need restructuring.

You see why igbos will never make any head way in any of their struggles?

They are their worst enemies!

Just part with a little 'chicken change' and you would sway them ALL to your side.

Ever ready and willing to relive their mistakes during the civil war.

Igbos: 'Una mumu never do?'

How do you remotely think good governance will come out of a broken institution such as a cesspit called Nigeria? Sometimes those Nigerians who erringly pride themselves as knowledgeable patriots are, in fact, dunces.

It's like you don't know how their brain function. They dedicated a whole thread of 11 pages and counting masturbating each other and scheming plans on how to "attack" Biafran threads on Nairaland(imagine someone with a life) .

I stated why the people rejected it. It should have been a protest against our collective failure in leadership acknowledged by all but they made the arrangement with PDP thereby giving it partisan coloration. Read directly from one of those involved in the protest.

Our Mumu Don Do Rally in Owerri today was a flop....

The exercise was poorly organized, mobilisation was so poor, the crowd that participated were not even up to 1000 population. Though the Convener Charly Boy was on ground, Prof Dike (SAN) was also on ground, with few other anchor officials. I can vividly recall OurMumuDonDo rally which held in Lagos State few months ago, the turn out was quite impressive, people came out in their number to show solidarity, but the case of Imo State, is a sorry situation.

My take: Imo People are not yet ready for Change, I think they are comfortable with their present state, if not, why the poor turn out, or is it because of the personality behind the rally?

What's your take, mature comments please....
