Imsu is writing their last paper today for 100L and 200L students writing GST courses.

The strike won't have much impact on us cos we are having our holidays.

I was in school today, some department still had their tests tho. I have a test scheduled 4pm and the lecturer is doing strong head that it'll hold. imagine just one month to start exams and graduate. hmmm

OAU: EXAMINATION STARTS ON MONDAY AS SCHEDULED —UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR*

The Registrar, Obafemi Awolowo University, Mr. Dotun Awoyemi has authoritatively informed *PigeonPost News* that the university examination will commence effectively tomorrow despite the wildfire tension about a nationwide strike from the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Mr. Awoyemi in his words further admonished the university students to put their mind at rest and stay away from any distraction.

The examination will hold as scheduled. Let students not be distracted. As the registrar of the university, we have not received any formal statement on any strike. Students should put their mind at rest and prepare well for their examination." —D.O Awoyemi, University Registrar, OAU.

Futo ASUU just concluded a meeting today,Monday 14th August 2017 about the supposed strike. It was agreed that the institution will round up her semester before going on this strike.

Futo students are therefore advised to conitnue with their normal weekly activities..Because as of today lectures were carried out and attendance were taken in various department.
