LESSON 01 - CREATING APP:
to start creating ur App, you must have come up with an idea of what u're going to create.
There are four steps to rolling out your application, they are; a. pick template, b. edit & configure, c. install on device, d. publish.
There are over 200 different free templates to choose 4rm. The templates actually makes the wrk easier, mostly for beginners. any template can actually be edited to produce something else.
But for the purpose of this lesson, let's create an App for a celebrity "OLAMIDE".
from your acct. dasboard, at the top of d page, click on "TEMPLATES" this will take u to the plates page where U'll browes tru to sellect the template that fits ur desire. Since I us to create an App for Olamide, i'll sellect the template "CELLEBRITY NEWS" click on "use this template" and then sellect which platform u're producing for(android, iPhone, iPad, kindle, & window). type in the name u want d app to bear, eg. "OLAMIDE APP" and click create.(hooolllllllaaaaah!!!!, your app is now up)

done.

LESSON - 2: EDITING & CONFIGURING
After our app "OLAMIDE APP" has been created, the next step is to edit and configure the app to look and function d way we want.
On the App dashboard, d following menu item will be displayed in tabuler form, they are;
i. edit pages, ii. Page settings, iii. design properties, iv. navigetion settings, v. store properties, vi. app settings, vii. multimedia, viii. push notification, ix. analytics.
With this menu options, u can actually adjust ur App to look and function any how you want. Let's sellect "EDIT PAGES" here u'll be taken to a page showing all the pages that comes with the template by default. we can either add more pages(pages we know we want to include in the app that doesn't follow the template by default.) using the positive sign(+) on the page, or delete any page we don't have any need for, by using the negetive sign(-) on page. Here also we can convert any page type to a different page type. to do this, click "convert page" and u'll be taken to where you can choose any page type to fit into ur desire. consider having the following pages wen creating this kind of App;
* 2 or 3 blank HTML pages - among which u'll use one to create a welcome msg/design for the app, which will be flashed for few seconds once the app is lunched, one to type info about the app. and the other for any other additional info u may wish to write.
* a youtube page - here u'll point the page to all Olamide related videos on youtube, this page wen set will authomatically browes and que Olamide's vidoes for users.
* a facebook page - this should also b pointed at Olamide's official facebook fan page by typing in the link to his official facebook fan page in the space provided.
* Image page - to create an in-app photo album of the celeb.(dowload a huge collection of his pix n put them here.
* RSS page type - u'll use this page to generate rss feed to collect and update any latest news about d celeb.
* a form page - for feed back from users.
* App rating page - for users to rate your app
* share app page - with this page, users can share d app with friends n families.
* u may also consider adding an audio streaming page, to be streaming his audio files.
* a mesager page will also add value, here users can chat n interact within themselves
* a puzzle game page, u may choose to creat a puzzle game with any of his selected images.
NOTE: always remember to save every/any changes made, by clicking on "save changes" b4 moving to the nxt thing.

Let's share briefly how money is being made in this App business:
You may wonder what u stand to gain by rolling out a chat application that ppl will download and use for free. the deal here is that the ad campaign you run on the app will amaze you depending on the number of downloads, as well as how often the App is being used by subscribers. on the platform, u'll see list of integrated Ad companies. all it takes is to creat a free acct with any of them. start a campaign on the App name. create campaign for both banner, and instastatial ads.
u may have been noticing some Ads wen navigating pages of some Apps. some page will onpen after a few senconds of a full screen Ad, this type of Ad is called the interstatial Ads, and it converts higher than the banner ad that runs either on top, or at the bottom of the pages, sometimes both top and bottom at the same time. that is where ur money is. most Ad network pays between $5.05 to $10 for every one thousand(1000) impressions. Impressions here talks abt the number of Ads that have been shown to ppl through your App. clicks on any of the Ads will be an additional earning. Now lets do the maths at a bigginers stage. Assuming you designed a 5 pages App that commands say 20,000 downloads across all the market places(eg. play store, IOS, kindle, windows etc.). with an average daily usage of just about 500. this will most likely convert as follows; 500 x 5(no. of pages), and this will generate 2,500 impressions in a day, which will make u about $20 reacher that day alone without lifting a finger. You can now do the calculation yourself if you publish an App the enjoys hundreds of thousands, or even millions of download, with thousands of daily traffic. You can now see that having ten Apps that converts one thousand impressions each, will be paying you $100 every day with ease, even from the comfort of you home.

Pls OP have been trying to work on the site using an Android phone but have been having difficulties like the template not loading past the first page and if I click any template it will not open. Can't I use my phone for this work.

Oga use lappi. I also tried with a phone but the templates easy usage is not really easy as that of a laptop.

U might b avin ntwrk issues, bcoz d site works perfectly with any phone running android 4.0 n above.
SUGGESTION: try a diff ISP.

* I already have a structured teaching module for my followers on this thread, n wouldn't appreaciate u complicating issues for them as most of them are beginers in this area.
* this thread was created xclusively for selfless service(not.that i dnt av live Apps on several app platforms across d net, but chose not to mention any), i see it to be fraudulent by u trying to drive free traffic to ur apps by trying to promote them here.
* you offer to create a video tutorial n upload on youtube for them to watch abi? anoda smart move to promote ur channel, n generate revenue.
* for d porpose of this class, we're working exclusively with appsmoment, n it's only appsmoment accademy tutorials which are available free on d same youtube that can really help them here, not urs plz.

PAGE SETTINGS: this is another menu option found on the app dashboard. This is where adjustments can be made to how d app behave. Under page settings u'll find d following menu optionsz;
* navigation bar: here is where u can name/rename all d pages according to ur desire. here u may also choose to change d header image of any or all d pages.
* banner Ads: here u sellect which of the pages u want ur banner ads(the tiny strip adz found either at d top or bottom or even both on app pages). this type of ad works on all d pages. just tick on all d pages u want them displayed. there r different ad platforms here, but I'll recomd you go for Admob by google. you'll need to sign up for free @ https://www.google.com/admob/
* Interstitial ads: these are those full page Ads that pops up when browsing through pages of some Apps. this type of Ad works on all pages except on "TAB"(usually the first four pages of the app). all need to do here is.to tick all d pages u want this ad to b appearing.
* Transition(animation): here u adjust how u want d pages to be opening(eg. flip left, push up, push down, etc.
Personaly these are d only options i'll tell u to work on, though there are still other options like;
* flick
* sharing(email facebook)
* web views
* hosted resources.

NOTE: Aways remember to click on "SAVE CHANGES" every time u make chages to any item, n click on "DONE" wen u're done.
