Any insight will be welcomed, Thanks in advance

Is very easy to start dropshipping. Just built mine yesterday with just $4 BitCoin... awkward? Yea it is.... only one person here in Nairaland knows about my dropshipping.

The way I see it is this, don't share anything till it has grown. That's the hard lesson I have learnt.

Edit: Ask me questions and I will answer them but when it goes too much to big secrets I won't answer them...fair enough.

Here is my email address bnjolusanya@yahoo.com. I will appreciate it if you can give me your phone number. Thanks.

Hi bro,

You're doing a wonderful job in trying to put people through in this business.

I have been doing a lot of research on the drop shipping business lately and I'll like to start my own. However, the payment gateway to use has been the major bone of contention. I will like to chat with you on this and many other things. Can I have your phone number please?

Yeah you can now use paystack with shopify, was amazed when I saw it, though I have gone of shopify.

I find it more fulfilling having my own e-commerce website where the few control is in my hands.

But what if I told you that there is a way to do a 100% local drop shipping system right here in Nigeria, getting/sourcing the products locally from wholesalers and major importers right here in Nigeria for insane cheap prices and marketing it for over 100% profit using........ Facebook + your e-commerce website (not compulsory but very essential)

I will be sharing steps by steps of how to go about it in a while as well as

* How to discover hot in demand products to go for
* Discovering where and how to source the products locally
* Courier companies to use for delivery
* Getting better results with facebook ads

among others

........but a quick question, do you think I should open a new thread so we can deal with it there more or I should go ahead and discuss about it here.

What do you think?
We are still awaiting your highness.

This means Nigerians at home cannot really run an efficient ecommerce international store, period.

This is a result of bad images, scammers, etc of the average Nigerian.

Although running an amazon account is much easier since payoneer is still available for Nigerians. Payoneer takes care of the sales.

An Amazon account can still remit money to our local dormicilary account through wire transfer.

If your target market is abroad and your business(business name or company) is registered with CAC and you have National ID(not slip), you can receive payments. Your goods/services will be displayed in $ and you have the option to receive payments in USD(if you Have a dom business account) or in naira(if your bank business account is in naira).

Just send your inquiries/business requirements to:

admin@dropshipma.com

I have come to find that the most online biznesses that lucrative uses PayPal and other payment processors that have issues with Nigeria.
You can imagine the like of Sudan and Niger are accepted by default on PayPal.

For this i lay a curse on those early yahaoo yahoo boys and scammers that caused all this limitations from the beginning.
Their entire generations will see limitations till the end of time. angry angry angry

Hmmm... Payment gateway is just a pain in the ass. It limits your business reach to just local region. Stripe no longer accepts just EIN, now SSN is compulsory. Pls people, help me out with ways to go about this payment gateway. Had to take my store offline cos of this. The other issue is the duration of shipping to Nigeria.

Gurus in the house, I seek your input. Kindly help out. Thanks

This is very wrong! Nigerians at home can actually run a full-fledged e-commerce store, accept credit card and bitcoin payment in their stores and sell globally guaranteed.

All you need is to know how to go about it.
Do your research well before you make such strong and harsh conclusion bro

Cool your temper bro.
What payment gateway systems are available to Nigerians running an international store? Let's start from there

The primary reason why many people are complaining about payment gateways on this thread is because everybody here is sticking to Shopify.

If you just want a single store that can accept credit card and sell globally, then that is not an impossibility. Have you heard of Woo? I mean woocomerce. With Woocomerce, you can achieve just that.

You can even sell Print On Demand (POD) products like T-shirts, leggings etc in your store and have it shipped to your customers in almost any country of the world by your Print company without your intervention.

And by full-fledged e-commerce store, I don't mean a single store that you can use to sell your products globally. I actually meant a multi-vendor store that have the ability to let other people create their own stores and sell on your own turn key e-commerce platform just like what eBay, Etsy and Amazon are doing.

As a matter of fact, I'm planning to launch such an e-commerce platform in the near future because right now my hands are tied down with my social network that I'm building. Otherwise I would have started it already right here in Nigeria. The future is very bright bro.

So forget whatever you are thinking bro.
Shopify is not the only e-commerce solution to run an international e-commerce store. There are other options with unlimited possibilities.

Try that option and I can assure you of very poor sales. No site accepts only bitcoin payment and make it in eccomerce.
