I got to know about them on nairaland at around March this year through a post made by one of us on this platform. Thereafter I registered and have been writing for them.

I get paid through my cousin's PayPal account who resides in the US.

The referral program is just a way of encouraging those of us who enjoy writing to get others on board. Perhaps if you write and get paid, I earn few percent of whatever you have earned. Note that whatever I earn from the referral program is not deducted from your earnings but from zemandis'.

I took an 'adventure' on the forum and the response from people was appaling. Some said they find it had to be assigned to write and some even complained on not being paid.

I sent a quest to be assigned to write but got a response that I don't have enough scores or points to get hired. They also went further saying that there's no assignment to write articles at that moment.

How do you really get in touch by writing articles and getting paid, since zemandi doesn't really seem too active from my own perspective?

The time difference is no barrier. Just know that each assignment once released to jog has a validity period if 8 hours. Once you fail to submit within this time frame,
you get notified on the expiration of that assignment.
