I am creating my EE profile at the moment. I need clarification on this issue.

When creating the express entry profile, is it important to add all my work experience or just the experience I am using to claim points?

Thanks

Yaaaaay... I made it to part 2. This ministry is bearing great fruit o. Weldone seniors

Aor: July 5
Medical passed: July 21
NA/IP1- I missed the change so no date.
ADR: August 1 (RPPR Fee)
Ip2: August 18 ( When I noticed)

I stated earlier in part one that I have a cute addition to my family last week Friday, should I just wait for PPR mail since I'm now in Ip2 to notify Cic or i should still go ahead and raise a CSE?
Don't really understand how Ip1 or 2 background check works, so I hope this is Ip2
Please advice cos I don't wanna long things for myself.
Congrats man! PPR a done deal.

If the work experience you have is 6 years and is sufficient for your NOC, then you should leave it at that. It doesn't fetch you any more points providing additional work experience. In other words, enter just enough to give you 6 years that matches your chosen NOC.

I thought the minimum is one year in the last 10 years. Why the 6 years you stated Or am I missing something?

ok thanks

They are different but you can ask that your file is transferred to Canada and pay the application fee for WES Canada (Have a reference number). Request that only your MsC is evaluated for this purpose so you save some time.

Cheers

I did six months treasury bill at GTB in may 2017 which will lapse in November. Do i need to get the treasury bill certificate now or can i still get the certificate even if the six months lapse?
If i get it now, can i use it anytime?

Thanks for this. I have modified the post. I just needed a practical experience and not just grammar interpretation. Thanks for the note on ATS. So why won't ICAN qualify if ATS which is it's baby would Just wondering.

Nevertheless, I think the information is quite explicit on CIC's website. One only need interpret it correctly.

For 8, doesn't apply to Nigerians.
Yer thanks
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Bimpsy99: 12:47pm On Aug 20, 2017
You can get it anytime. But I would suggest you get it after your ITA since you don't have any need for it ATM. You can always rollover your investment after expiry of your current investment if you wish.

You can limit it to only the work experience you want to claim points for. The other work experiences would form part of your personal when you are completing the post ITA forms.

If your are creating an EE profile, I assume you have already checked and confirmed your eligibility.... note that these two are different things.

While creating d profile, scores max out at 3 yrs so u dont need to include more than that. If u have one single employment in your chosen NOC with more than 3yrs, add just that one while creating a profile. when u get an ITA, d rest yrs of experience can be included in your personal history section....
This is your best line of action because if u put them all in the preITA EE profile, you will be required to submit individual reference letter (i.e multiple placeholders) for each job duration you filled in d preITA form.....
IMHO, no need for such stress chasing around reference letters.

If what you are filling out is the eligibility form, then u should quote the full number of years of experience u ve got.

Yes, 3 years for max CRS score. But since you are applying under the FSW scheme. If you have 6 years, you get more points to get up to the required 67. So, 3 years is good. But 6 years is better.

Well, it made me wonder too. But I have seen at least two cases where ATS was evaluated as one-year college level diploma.
My guess is that they do not want to evaluate ICAN as a professional certificate since that could automatically guarantee that ICAN graduates would be able to practice in Canada. Maybe.

But I have also talked to some ICAN guys who wrote ATS and they confirmed it's some sort of technician diploma. They don't appear surprised it's evaluated as such.

I think someone else needs to come confirm this.
