This is the news getting to me, though I don't know how true it is.

Live at the Jamb Policy meeting day 1
1.Beware of Change of Institution. Prof Oloyede warns.
2.Beware of the information you submit while registering. Your date of birth can cost you a lot when you are to be mobilized for NYSC - Prof Oloyede
3.We are introducing a process to ensure admission is not delayed - Jamb
4.Universities are not permitted to hold on to a candidate for a long period. Once a University cannot admit, she is expected to release them to other Universities
5.Before now, a candidate applies for Medicine and because the University needs more students in Agric, such student is moved to the department. The damaged is caused because such student won't get to know until a later date. With the new system, no more

9.All Universities are now expected to obey and comply with the timeline of admission with the new system
10.All Universities still have the flexibility to create their cut off marks. This will be done between now and tomorrow
11.All Universities will input their cut off marks this afternoon after lunch - Jamb
12.All Universities will download the list of students who chose them today also. Meanwhile, there is a risk in this. Details later
13.With the information here, Post Utme Screening results is part of the admission processing. Please note
14.Jamb will keep suggesting to Universities qualified students. Please note: Suggest

Over one million UTME candidates scored below 200 – JAMB*

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board on Tuesday said 569,395 of the 1.7 million candidates that wrote this year’s UTME scored over 200 marks. The Registrar, JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, disclosed this at the policy meeting of the stakeholders of Tertiary Institutions in Abuja.

He said 23.8 per cent of the total number of the candidates scored below 160 marks. He said the stakeholders unanimously agreed that the minimum cut-off mark for the university degree is to stand at 120.

The stakeholders, according to him, peg that of Polytechnic to be 100, College of Education 100, while National Innovative Enterprise Institution remained at 110 marks. The registrar said the timelines for admission of the first choice was October 15, while the second choice would be December 15.

Actually, I only heard of rumors that it's likely that hnd exams would start on 9th of September and end on 12th of September too. Which means they will use three days for the cbt exams.

Apart from that, the school exams was supposed to start by August 28, but I think it has been postponed presently to September 11, due to (Ileya) which means it might be true the school will conduct cbt exams for hnd aspirant before the commencement of the school's exam.

As polyibadan isn't the first polytechnic to adopt this method, Gateway polytechnic Ogun state has been doing this for a while now Liasing with Crawford University Igbesa Ogun state and i have valid testimonies of people who did the conversion program theryby having HND in Banking and finance and Bsc in International Relations..

I think its a nice idea For polyibadan to adopt this method what do you think about this guys?
