This may not be feasible. The current official rate is slightly above 27 naira to a rand.

Hello guys,

I will like to make an enquiry before applying for a South African visiting visa. My fiancee is a permanent resident in South Africa and we have done our introduction. I want to pay her a visit and then try and do a legal wedding in SA before coming back so that we can use the marriage certificate for the Accompany Spouse Visa processing.

The most important thing is that I need to secure a visiting visa of 3 months with multiple entry asap.

The most important thing is that I need to secure a visiting visa of 3 months with multiple entry asap. She has all the required papers to back up my application but I have few concerns;

1. I am presently not employed but I am doing freelancing on fiverr.com and I make an average of 300k per month. I have an account balance of 700k presently which I can also improve prior to my application. The concern is, as the account statement doesn't indicate a salary and my major credits in the account have been from one individual which I sell my forex too; I hope this is not going to raise a red flag or any doubt.

2. Can I include all the details of my freelancing business including link to my page to convince the consular that I have something tangible doing at the moment.

3. I am thinking of attaching our introduction pictures along with the application.

Your Swift response will be highly appreciated as I will like to submit my application immediately after the Sallah break

God bless!

There is nothing absolutely wrong with providing proof of how you earn your income. 300k is quite a sum do not present yourself as a nobody. You can chose another good title for your job. Call yourself online professional whatever you do to make such sum. Whatever proof you have to show your earning is a plus.

Adding a picture of you guys intro is cool too.
The bigger the balance in your account the better.

Hello Friends,

Please feed me from your knowledge. Are there no medicals & police report required for SA student visa? I cant find the info on VFS website.

How much do they cost, where are the select physicians for medicals.

Medicals and Police Report are required for SA Study Visa. The forms are available on VFS website for download. It depends on the hospital either government or private.

please, I applied for a short visa and was refused, reason being transaction on statement not credible. this is my salary account which I've been working for over 7 years. salary is over 130k per month and its a government job. I made a transfer of 450k on the day I printed it to show I have money there cos I usually don't keep money there, once salary comes, I withdraw it. now I'm asked to reapply withing 10 days. my question, am I going to pay for visa and processing fee all over again withing this 10 days? will I need to attach all documents again? quick response will be appreciated.

Yes you will have to pay again, and submit the same documents u used before , then explain to them more about your account in the letter and make sure u have a sustainable balance..

Thanks, yes I applied in Lagos. But if I have to pay again, whats the point of telling me to apply again withing 10 working days? certainly, this people don't confirm account statements... I'll just look for another country to spend my annual leave rather than paying again for embassy that doesn't check statements thoroughly. It would have been understandable if it was denied based on other grounds. I really appreciate your response.

your post above suggest that you don't have money in your account and you hurriedly deposit 450k because of the visa application irrespective if its a salary account. the embassy does not need to confirm your bank statement again before denial! because that action is questionable. giving you 10 working days to reapply is just to confirm their suspicion that you are not a genuine visitor! because the money you claim in your account is not your own and you won't reapply.

firstly, you need take some time and review relevant pages and find answers to your queries. as an IT personnel you can also look it up online. if you don't understand any of the info..you can come here and ask specific question as it relates.
secondly i need to understand what you mean by task network...and how you intend to "commence" in SA. after we can dig further and see your options.

thanks for your response. firstly, I don't ever leave money on my salary account because its a current account, I have two other savings account that I run which I save on, two days to the day of submission, I printed the statements of all my accounts but a colleague in the office said I do not need that and that all I need do was to transfer to my salary account cos all they need is an affirmation that I have a steady job. that was why I transfered to my salary account and printed. I never reasoned along your line until now and I feel the need to prove my point because this now means more than a denial. please I'll like to be guided, should I print all the statements of the accounts I have without moving any money? what are the processes of an appeal. thanks for your very important points and I anticipate your response.

Yes print all your statements of accounts, stamped and signed including the one questioned. if you can get a letter from your bank branch to confirm that the specific account is a salary account and it is yours. submit all of them including all the previous documents in support of your application. Also write a letter to clarify to the embassy and attach proves...the bank letter and statements. you will be fine at the end.

Hi all, please I'll like to ask some questions here. My boss and I are planning to visit South Africa on a business trip in December for two weeks.

We re an auto spare parts company and we want to visit a south African based auto spare company on business.

What are the necessary documents to file and can his personal bank account be sufficient for both applications as he'll be sponsoring the trip for both of us together.

Thanks
