Samsung S8 & Oneplus 5 comes with Snapdragon 835 but, in terms of fast charging, Oneplus 5 beat Samsung S8 because Samsung use snapdragon tech where as Oneplus 5 uses Dash charge

In terms of battery optimization, Oneplus 5 beat samsung

Not surprising at all coz at launch samsung mobile CEO DJ Koh said the GS8 was the best phone they have ever made and sincerely that has been the case... the phone has lived up 2 its expectation!

I'll wait, I've been using my s7 edge for 5 months, it still has a long way to go besides anything aside this front FPS is unacceptable to me.

iPhone isn't gonna be released with under screen finger print scanner. Moving the FPS was to achieve the full screen bezeless form and iphone 8 will have the FPS on the power button like Sony.

The reason Samsung didn't do that is because Apple filed a patent for it. The patent shouldn't have been granted cos Sony have always had the FPS on the power buttons

Sony didn't file a patent in U.S. for fingerprints at the power button. Why?

Sony didn't want carrier phones in US anymore but still had a legal contract with a company. Most people say it's Verizon cos of the news with Xperia Z4V. Anyway, for Sony to start selling international phones in U.S., there was a deal with that company to not sell fingerprint phones. So they disabled the software.

Sony can start selling fingerprint phones later when the contract is no longer binding. Why? cos of LG v20/G6 and Nextbit Robin have fingerprints on their power buttons and there were no patent disputes in U.S..

Besides, Cupertino did file those patents Q2 of 2015, way before Sony's first fingerprint phone. And lastly, patents are not really about "what" but the "how".

Unfortunately, Tecno, Itel, Gionee and Infinix have devised a way of f00ling many Nigerians with their excessively high mAh.

Most Samsung phones with 3000 mAh are way better than 5000 mAh Gionee phones. It is one thing to have a battery, it is another thing to optimize functionalities. I will choose a phone with 1000 mAh and high battery optimization capabilities than a 10,000 mAh bulky phone with an ability to swell and explode.

In fact, [/b]any phone that uses its battery capacity has a selling point is a NO for me; I'm buying a phone bruv, not a transformer.[b]

Nerosky meant Samsung Pass not Samsung Pay. Samsung Pass is an app that allows you use your fingerprint scanner to unlock any other app or webpage that requires a password. Although the app has to be enabled and the webpage must be opened on sammie's browser.

Samsung pay is not enabled in Nigeria or any other African country last time I checked. My cuz schools in Russia and she enjous using Samsung pay. Apparently she gets freebies thru it

Battery, very solid, its 3000 Mah but performs than 90% of phones with 4000/5000mah out there...

Samsung Pass - Very awesome feature, you don't have to stress yourself login in any site, just put your fingerprint, and you're good..

Bixby Vision (Though is annoying on how/where they placed the button, many accidental press) you can snap any language, or image of any language and extract the text from it and translate it to english, isn't that thrilling? also its ability to tell you place or what you snap....

Unlimited Screenshot - you can screen grab all page by screenshot, scroll,screenshot,scroll till u grab the whole place you want to..

Samsung Cloud Sync- turn it off from Setting => Gallery, else data nobi ur problem ,was surprised 11 GB has already synchronised, i nearly cry...

Other powerful features are the notification system, notification lightning,fast charging, we all know it had best camera, anything else i remember i will add...(I used had best camera becos Note 8 is surely coming to overtake it)

Best Display - Even apple had to pay Samsung for iphone 8 screen
