Let's say you go to the UK, after your M.Sc you come back, then what? Do you know the number of people who had M.Sc's before you even registered for your JAMB? The job market is saturated with M.Sc's and not just local but foreign obtained M.Sc degrees.

Your present job of 183K is good enough and you should get even higher pay soon once you get promoted, and you are in sales department which has high promotion opportunities. Stick to your job or accept FBN when the time comes, you were complaining about its modest pay, but there are a whole lot of allowances you stand to enjoy as a confirmed staff.

To be honest, i just dislike commercial science related jobs even though i try to do my best in the one i found myself in because one does not have the luxury of switching jobs at will in Naija. Remember, i dropped KPMG some months ago and was fortunate enough to find one recently.

Life is all about risk.

If you go, you will gain more knowledge and international experience, unfortunately you will have to come back because its UK unless you impregnate Oyinbo. Lol. And when you come back, you will need to compete for the few jobs in the field you love so much. Or take a job in social science which is what you already have.

But 2years is a long time. Unemployment would have eased by then. And if you could get 2 jobs without Msc in this present Nigeria, you can do it again when you get back.

Well, i think i will choose Access, Access is a bank that is dominated by young and vibrant people compared to first bank and yes like the others have said Access will push u to the end of the wall just to bring out the best in the u, i don't see this as a bad thing because u get better and achieve things u never thought u could. You are a young man/woman this is the time to hustle and push yourself, u can retire for first bank later in life.

An example is the recruitment process, see how long first bank is taking, In Access everything is SHARP SHARP!!!

Flight Fares.... I don't see how 5M would be sufficient. That's about 12-15k pounds.

Don't mind him,I'm not sure he's worked in a properly structured place where every item in your employment contract is implemented. When resigning from my last job,I had to give two weeks notice despite not owing them a dime.Your employer needs time to find a suitable replacement for you and probably audit your accounts/activities depending on the nature of your job.So,you just can't leave unannounced or on a very short notice.Just refer to your employment letter or ask around if anyone has had to leave on a very short notice.Never rule out your new employer having to ask for reference from your old/last employer.

When First Bank gives you 4 days to report to TS, Bros wait for 1 week and 3 days more to give notice. Don't forfeit salary and resign yeye.
