Reacting to the senseless killing of persons, especially women and children in a night attack on Ancha village in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau, President Muhammadu Buhari, Saturday condemned the act, noting that it was unlawful for anyone or group to take laws into their hands in the name of revenge or reprisal rather than follow due process by allowing law enforcement agencies to fish out any such aggressors, who will be made to face justice.

The President, in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Saturday, equally expressed disappointment at the disruption of peace and normalcy that had reasonably taken root in the state. President Buhari According to him, “It is unlawful of anyone or group to take the laws into their hands in the name of revenge or reprisals, rather than follow due process by allowing law enforcement agencies to fish out any such aggressors, who will be made to face justice.

“The various communities in the state have taken many steps, with the support of security agencies and mediators to pull the state back from the brink of anarchy and senseless killings warranted by attacks and counterattacks.’’ “It will be a painful loss to allow these unsavoury acts to return. “I urge all our communities in the state and the other parts of the country to embrace peace and bring to a stop these painful and unnecessary killings,’’ he added. The President further reiterated the determination of the Federal Government to protect the lives and property of all citizens, irrespective of their places of abode.

He, however, directed law enforcement agencies to apprehend the perpetrators of the Plateau killings and whoever their sponsors may be. He prayed God to grant peace to the souls of the victims and comfort to the grieving families and community. The Plateau State Police Command had on Friday in Jos confirmed that 19 persons were killed and five others injured in an attack on Ancha village in Bassa Local Government Area. The state’s police commissioner, Peter Ogunyanwo, who gave the confirmation to newsmen, said that preliminary investigation had indicated that the attack was carried out by unidentified gunmen.

He said: “We are investigating the matter, but from our findings so far, the attack was carried out by herdsmen to avenge the killing of a young boy. “We have been told that a boy resident in the village was reported missing on Aug. 3. We are told that his body was later found without the head.’’

What the idiot buhari means by his statement is that it is unlawful for those killed by his people (Herdsmen) to go after them for revenge.

Criminality is a human endeavour. What we take as a crime in our society is a way of life in the animal Kingdom. Stealing and murder is the way of life for Hyenas and can't be equated as a crime.

But crime has not always been in existence for primitive man operated at a level we can describe today as barbaric.

Crime came into existence when mankind began to socialise in organised groups. For there to be peaceful coexistence rules where drawn and from there the concept of crime was invented.

But it will take mankind several millennia to develop effective crime preventive measures by adopting independent authorities to punish criminals.

In primitive man, crime only existed in one dimensions involving two parties - the perpetrator and the victim which I will refer as the "first parties". Instant retribution was the only way to check crime in primitive man's world.

As man began congregating in extended groups, second parties arose as arbitrators. "First party" victims of crime will seek a "second party" to help get retribution and justice for a wrong doing he must have suffered. This thus led to a feudal state of man and it gave rise to generational warring among mankind as justice wasn't at the core at preventing crime but rather relationships and strength of affiliation of the "first parties." A prime example of this feudal state of war over injustice can still be seen among bedouin tribes.

Most societies decided early on that for society to be peaceful and crime free a "third party" who is guided by equity and fairness and who is versed in the laws ought to be appointed to arbitrate on crime. This "third party" saw the beginning of both the legislative and judiciary arms of society.

In failed states, the first cracks were first noticed when equity and justice had become eroded and compromised. Society members thus forego "third party" arbiters for "second" and "first party" solutions.

In present day Nigeria, the Buhari led FG has eroded any little confidence the people have in the security forces and courts in checking criminality and upholding the law.

When you have Fulani criminals going unchecked killing and raping across the land with no intentions whatsoever to reign them in and punish them for their heinous crime, their victims will be forced to adopt "second party" measures to protect themselves from future injustice and criminality.

As I said earlier "second party" solutions fall on securing solace and protection from powerful relations or from forming a powerful militia from people of similar bloc or relationships.

This has since seen the rise of tribal militias like the Mambilla Militia who formed tribal armies in Taraba to check the marauding fulanis whom Buhari has done nothing to check their activities.

A similar tribal militia was quickly assembled in Ife by Yorubas to check the rioting Awusa mobs who had killed a Yoruba man. The people of Ife took the laws into their hands because they knew from recent experience in Mile 12, Lagos that the security forces will not arrest the marauding Awusa mob.

Another good example of abuse of powers by the Buhari govt is the unconditional release of 5 Awusa men who beheaded an elderly Igbo trader. Buhari had earlier set the path for the release of the shameless cowards when he stated that "people should not take the laws into their hands" - meaning that he believed the woman deserved to be killed for desecration of Islam, a punishment deserving of death according to sharia law. It will then come as no surprise when the Kano state govt withdrew all charges of the perpetrators and set them free.

Since 2015, Buhari and his satanic APC are taking us back to their barbaric feudal medieval Islamic state of terror. It will then be no surprise when Nigeria soon slips into anarchy.

The "unidentified gunmen" refers to the unknown identity of the HERDSMEN. The findings so far, as expressly revealed by the Police Commissioner, show the attack was orchestrated by herdsmen.

I have followed activities of the police under this administration to know that herdsmen are never brought to justice for atrocities committed.
Hope is further dampened when the Commissioner of Police flies that "unidentified" kite.

That should not discount the fact that the dwellers there now have probable cause on whom the attackers are and the right method for them to exact their retributive justice.

Before there can be meaningful peace, justice must be served.

Equity, justice for all (irrespective of tribe/religion) will engender peace and confidence in government.
But where you find government always making excuses for a particular section of the country, justice becomes elusive for the oppressed.

Arewa youth are walking free. Minister of Interior and Justice minister came out openly to shield them.
Not one fulani herdsman has been prosecuted since the terror attacks all over the southern part of the country.

So when this happens and the first statement the Police commissioner makes is "unidentified...", you just know that the matter is already set up to go the way of the others.

Initially, was thinking that bubu is Jez a normal human, Buh now Jez realize that our president is a cow. Coz he reason like malu. Imaging his statement. How many fulani have they arrested so far, and they killed human being like bushmeat,... yet bubu never arrest a single person among them. Even their cow takes over the street as if they were human. Am a Yoruba. Sooner or later my fifu will also understand. Buhari isn't worth to die for. Before he arrest anybody in South East or south west, he should arrest all those almajiris first, who utter those hatred mumu music then all the fulanis that have been killing innocent soul and their cows, then Arewa youth leader. This country is a mess. Now am yorafra... I wanna go to my new country. Yolicom Reloaded
