I just want to compare your thoughts with the one I've got here. I know some people who do not go to Church but do live good Christian lives. But based on the way we're being compelled to go to Church almost all the time... The question I have to ask is this: Does Not Going To Church Make You A Bad Christian? Your thoughts. Cc. Religious belief is an invisible security blanket for insecure individuals. Closeted minds will continue to allow brainwashing and indoctrination by religious leaders that there is a 'god', and there was a 'jesus', in order that the people with closed minds allow themselves to be controlled so that the various Corporations (churches) remain profitable as the tax-free money continues to roll in. As long as you have a place where you share the gospel, encourage each other and keep the faith alive, then you're in a Church. A church is anywhere children of God meet for the glory of God even if you guys are just 2 in number. eyeon:Hebrews 10:25 (CEB) Don't stop meeting together with other believers, which some people have gotten into the habit of doing. Instead, encourage each other, especially as you see the day drawing near. Haven't given the above scripture, I would admonish you to set time to fellowship with Yahweh by joining different groups in your fellowship. It's advisable that you set a least 2 days in the week to fellowship with the brethren (Christians). Aside that, build your personal relationship with Yahweh because it's important for your scriptural growth. In fellowshipping with Christian brethren, you share thoughts,pray,and bring your petitions before Yahweh. You find that in Gal 6:2 "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (ESV) It's important to note that corporate prayers work are more effective "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:19-20(ESV) "All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers." for you to be a gudt Christian u gat go to church on Sunday... don't quote me wrong. i neva said not going to church makes u badt Christian.. but thinking of it from another angle.. Jesus wouldn't have introduce church if it wasn't dat necessary in Salvation.. u can't say u can understand the scripture on your own.. u need the understanding of anoda(priest, pastor) to guide you on ur spiritual life.... nd lastly going to church and going back empty is same as not going at all.. at the end if you are a gudt Christian, u shouldn't neglect going to church.. thank you |

Even if one goes to church and spend 24 hrs there,pay your tithes regularly, but still do not follow HIS commandments like telling lies, (includes falsification of documents, paying bribes to get a contract, giving Mr A what rightfully belongs to Mr B) fornication,adultery, bearing false witness, killing one fellow human being, and others, my brother one cannot inherit HIS kingdom. 80% of church goers are attention seekers and liars,including the pastors who are after material gains and women's pussies. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Like someone has said, "it depends". Yes, do not forsake the gathering of the brethren, but sometimes, what you'll find in church might even offend your spirit. If you love God (which is most important) anywhere you worship Him is ok. I recently found the audio files of Apostle Joshua Nimmak's sermons very uplifting that I don't even feel the need to attend church. I can pay my tithe anytime and make donations anytime. Dazall! Pump and pageantry, a.k.a show off is not my thing. But hey... That's just me Sha! 2 Likes 1 Share |
