NB: i will appreciate if u guys can gv me hints on hw to b successful in d test. Is d test obj or theory? Thanks The test was obj. 100 English language questions and 50 HSE questions. However, the nature of the questions depend on which exam body is conducting the test. What I read mostly based on past questions were history-based questions (history of oil discovery, nnpc, ptdf and various acts establishing them), lol and behold non of those came out however. The English will be fine especially if you have done GRE before. But for the HSE, basic knowledge of chemistry, environmental hazards and general safety approach in industries and various risk identification symbols(all theses u can google online) would help u a lot. Nobody is talking about the forms we are are supposed to fill.

I am interested in a Ph.D Data Science / Analytics or Big Data and am presently considering applying for the PTDF. I understand these Ph.d options are not available for the PTDF scholarship however, I possess the qualification for some other options on the PTDF list like Renewable energy et al. Here is my question, since I do not require an admission letter for the PTDF application can I indicate Ph.d renewable energy while applying for the PTDF scholarship and after winning it revert back to my Ph.D Data Science that am interested in ? ON ADMISSION
PTDF does not help u for admission. However, do not panic and just focus on your test if u have not got admission.
Even if u don't get admission, u can defer the scholarship for a year.
If u want to obtain admission this year, it is achievable within a
week or two even in top UK school so far admission deadline has not
passed. When u apply and u meet the requirements, e-mail the
admission team of d respective schools that u need admission letter
for scholarship processing. For USA and most other countries,
admission for September 2017 is closed but u can apply for January
2018 admission which is still open.
