I think that the man in question doesn't believe or pays his tithe. From his statement, he wasn't happy because he might have made brethren to see him as a giver and tither, but was disappointed when the real tithers were celebrated without him mentioned.

1) Abraham was ALREADY VERY RICH before he met Melchizedek.

2) He gave tithe of spoils of war to Melchizedek not from his PERSONAL wealth.

3) He gave the tithe ONCE.

4) He was blessed by Melchizedec AFTER WHICH Abraham gave Him tithe of all. The blessing PRECEDED the PAYING not the other way round.

5) Malachi was STRICTLY an indictment of Jews. Has absolutely nothing to do with Christians.

However, Jesus' Priesthood is from a different order, that of Melchizedec, an Eternal Being & Priest, far bigger than Levi THAT EVEN ABRAHAM the father of Levi paid tithe to as important as tithe is to the Jew.

Paul used the tithe paying matter to justify the superiority of Jesus' Priesthood over that of Levi. HE WAS NOT JUSTIFYING TITHE PAYING BY CHRISTIANS!

Where was is written in the Bible that you keep record of tithe and announce it? ok. Just as welfare should between u and God so church members should not come running to church
to me i believe every church has the responsibility of pressurizing members to do wat is neccessary to live the life God destined for them. So appreciating people consistent in tithing should be an encouragement to others. My opinion though

why kidnapping, drug trafficking, armed robberint wont increase in this country. So the purpose of this is to motivate those that don´t pay much to thrive to get more money, so they too can be celebrated in church. And since these same people can´t afford, this, they end up doing one shading biz or the other.

Rotten soceity we live in. People don´t look at the long term effect of their actions, just the short term ones.
