Well, personally I feel you don't have to pay your 10% to your immediate church all the time provided it's an already established one. There are some churches with almost no chairs, you can pay to their account. Giving is an attitude.

I'm not here to argue with you. Just because someone says he's a christian doesn't mean he really is. If their attitude does not portray that of Christ, such fellow is not genuinely one. Jesus already said you shall know them by their fruit. And if those people are not following the teaching of Christ the right way, nothing stops you from being the good christian you wish to see in others. If you can't do that, you have no right to judge them because you yourself know what is right but not doing it.

I lived with a priest for years, never fasted though i had a slim figure so i no fit fast join my lepkanes.

said 20 decades of rosary almost everyday, i still like that prayer though, it's meditative and profound. I don't appreciate the banging and shouting of new age unorthodox pentecostal christianity.

I Neva prayed 20decades like u Boss.. Only on 1st Saturday adorations bt I prayed 5decades everyday wit divine mercy prayers at 3pm.. .used to pray 3hrly 6am, 9am, 12noon (angelus) ,3pm divine mercy n rosary, 6pm angelus, den nyt prayers after returning from Block Rosary. . ..
i went to church every oda day except on Thursdays,i was a member of all d major societies n ministries in d church except d choir.. Let's jst say ma voice isnt one to die 4!!

Believing that "God" is imaginary has made me more confident, aware and more in control of what happens to me. Whenever am faced with a challenge, I seek practical and/or professional solutions to it and receive immediate feedback and/or solutions, that aid further decision making. I do not go on my kneels and pray myself to stupor and wait a thousand years for faith to work.
This is the real world. We make opportunities and not pray for them to come.
