I Neva prayed 20decades like u Boss.. Only on 1st Saturday adorations bt I prayed 5decades everyday wit divine mercy prayers at 3pm.. .used to pray 3hrly 6am, 9am, 12noon (angelus) ,3pm divine mercy n rosary, 6pm angelus, den nyt prayers after returning from Block Rosary. . ..
i went to church every oda day except on Thursdays,i was a member of all d major societies n ministries in d church except d choir.. Let's jst say ma voice isnt one to die 4!!

Bt Evenin masses.. U can bet ur life savings I'll b dere. .I clean up d Marian grotto n spent hours praying both written n unwritten prayers.. ..

My own was believing my mom was a witch because a stupid prophetess told me. I started fasting and praying for God to deliver the innocent woman. I even remember going to the mountain for 21days fasting and putting all my money in tithes and offering to an imaginary God but think you God that there is no God.

1. Who created man? You probably believe the Big Bang theory, if that holds to be true then who orchestrated the mighty explosion and how come it has never happened again? Why are matters and energies not forming in our very own eyes today to create a world like ours.
2. You do not believe in miracles, how come the blind suddenly regain their sights after prayers or numerous other scientifically impossible cases? Cancer patients proclaimed terminal by doctors suddenly get healed miraculously Who is the doer of these great things?
3. If man was not created by God and the universe created man, then who created the universe?
4. So, the sun stands in the sky without falling down, knows when to let the moon come in, and stars sprawl over the vast black sky, and the rivers and oceans know just where to stop, and nature is so orderly and nobody made it so? It just happened
5. If really, the big bang theory is the plausible creation story, why did it not continue?
6. Humans have so many languages, where did they ever learn them? Something cannot emanate from nothing, so from whence did these various languages come from?
7. How and why do people die? Their hearts stop beating right, and then they don't suddenly explode? What happened to matter can neither be created nor destroyed?

No matter how hard you try to justify your claims, God is not dead. Its true there are many schisms in the church today and so many Christians don't live up to the name... That doesn't lay credence to the assumption that God doesn't exist.

Some of you have deep sitted traumatic experiences e.g the death of a loved one...and you think God does not exist because things did not go as you planned.

Mr. Man, one thing you should know is that making a case for a creator god is one thing and making a case that the creator god is the christian god is another thing entirely. Both require two sets of evidences. Let us assume the creator god exists, how do you know it's your god? The same set of evidences used to verify a creator god will be utilised by all religions. Evidences and common sense show that all religious gods are man-made.

That is why pretense and hypocrisy is rife in Christianity. An ultra, totalitarian standard of goodness is set up to which everyone must measure up to. Thing is no one quite measures up to it but everybody keeps trying to and expecting others to do same and this produces what I call the epidemic of righteousness where people are sick, spiritually and psychologically sick because of trying to meet up with an abstract, inhuman notion of goodness. It causes so much choking. This creates a deathly staleness in Christian circles, a kind of brass like coldness.

One which I regret was believing my grandma was a witch. A pastor told my mum and dad that my grandma was a witch . This led to a quarrel between my parents and my grandma (whom my parents asked to leave the house and go back to the village) . I still remember how heartbroken my grandma was when parking her stuff out of the house.

1. Confessing my "sins" to a fellow human (a priest).

2. Fasting 6-12pm sometimes 6-6pm. Thank Goodness, I survived that. (Dry Fasting)

3. Celibacy: minimal association with the opposite sex (Chai, Na dis dey vex me pass) in order to achieve saint hood.

4. Donating offerings to be sent back to Rome for whatever reason. I didn't know then catholic church was the richest institution in the world. (oops!)

5. Going too vigil and wasting my time and sound sleep.


N.B. I love the coporal works of mercy. That's the only thing I don't regret. I also love block Rosary. It give me a perfect coverage to play with other kids as much as I wanted since my people no dey gree me waka as I like.
