"Buhari Should Withdraw Army From The East & Leave Nnamdi Kanu Alone" - FFK by Austinogiza(m): 10:31am On Sep 13, 2017
The former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has reacted to the reported Nnamdi Kanu house arrest after the Nigerian army reportedly surrounded his house in Umuahia, Abia state.

Recall, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor had yesterday cried out to the public over concerns about the IPOB leader’s safety, claiming his client has been placed under house arrest by the Nigerian army.

Kanu’s counsel, also claimed soldiers allegedly invaded the IPOB leader’s country home in Umuahia

Now, the former minister, who took to his Facebook page condemned the action of president Muhammadu Buhari vowing to hold him responsible should anything happen to Kanu..

He wrote;

The behaviour of the military against a defenceless and unarmed civilian population in Abia state is reprehensible.

What has Nnamdi Kanu or indeed the Igbo people done to warrant this primitive show of barbarism and force? We are on the brink of a total breakdown of law and order and a prolonged and bloody armed conflict.

I urge restraint on all sides and I call on President Muhammadu Buhari to withdraw the army from the east and leave Nnamdi Kanu alone.

Terrorising your own people with soldiers is not the act of a courageous man but rather the act of a tyrant, a coward and a bully.

We call on the international community to bear witness to what is unfolding in Nigeria and we will hold Buhari responsible and accountable in the event of any loss of life.

We have already held him accountable for destroying Nigeria and our verdict is aClear clarion call that this must be his last tenure in Aso Rock.. For those of you still supporting Buhari out of misinformation, bigotry, partisanship, sectarianism or just sheer stupidity remember:

Buhari poor decision is 80 percent responsible for the current bad economy.

Remember his poor decisions are also responsible for the heavy poverty and uncertainty currently ravaging your entire lineage .

Remember that Nigeria has never been this insecure

Remember Buhari has not still visited and state outside the North except Lagos since his inauguration

Remember that for the first time on our history we have military operations going on in all 6 Geo political Zones ( this didn't even happen during the Civil War)

Remember that Buhari has not been able to drive any visible to any of his ministers till date and rarely assesses them at all and when they meet its just to gossip about politics .

Remember that there are no winners in sort of poor leadership just a 100 percent losers so we are all losers under Buhari none has won .

Finally remember to vote him out is now a CIVIC DUTY..

Only miserable basstarddsss will leave the message and atotack the messenger.
These iddiots will not advice the government to create an exit door in the Constitution for those that are not comfortable with the Union to leave, but quick to attack Nnamdi KANU who is fighting for freedom of his people.
If Nig don't want to include referendum in the Constitution, then they should withdraw their membership from united Nations that recognized self determination( Of course I doubt if they will survive if they withdraw their position with UN ).

When the war start, it will definitely affect everybody no matter where you are in Nigeria.
No country on earth has survived second civil war to be united.

With war: Igbos must be free because even Britain that forced us together will cry for our desperation
Without war, which is referendum: Igbos will still be free.
So, it's a win win game for them.
Ipob has been calling for referendum but the govt has turned deaf ears by provoking them and threatening them with war.
The day it will start, nobody will be spared.
God bless Nnamdi KANU
God bless Adeyinka Grandson and all lovers of freedom out there.
The same thing you clamoud for when Jonathan was at the helm of affairs.

Those people shouting that they are ready to face the military should know that KANU is also ready to leave the country if the s. h.I.t is about to go down, and you will have nowhere to run to but your village

Ever heard of molotov cocktail? Google it. It's cheap and easy to make.

USE IT!!!!

Ndi-Igbo must stop playing the victim and start reacting. It's time to take your destiny in your hands.

This young Igbo boys on Nairaland don't know anything. Walahi.
This Biafra casala that you people are agitating for will only put you people in more problems dont you people think at all. You are only thinking with an "Hausa" factor cap blocking your brains. The Southeast can barely put it allocation to good use, yet you want secession. Anyway at least when all ibo shops are locked down and ibo civil servant sent back to east, we the rest of nigeria will ENZOY. Ope.. Ooooo

FG should not sit and watch as the nation runs into anarchy.

Not acting in time to save other crises, such as BH led to too much carnage.

If the Igbos want Biafra, so be it, but there must be ways to do this in a civilised manner, such as mobilising their state reps and their national reps. The reps can push for a referendum on it.

So far, they are making it look like a battle concocted by Kanu and a large hosts of unemployed youths. If you allow that to grow anarchy may result.

There is no nation that will sit idle and watch you change the flags and start your own parallel army.

Go to Spain and learn how the Catalans are fighting for independence.

The Scots sought for independence and lost in a vote and they accepted it.

There is no proof that majority of Igbos want Biafra until it is put to a vote. Efforts should be put into forming that coalition that will get that vote. To think you can have it another way, outside the legal channel, is to be calling for war. Do you want that? Have we failed to learn lessons from the last civil war?

You should stop listening to FFK - He speaks like a man whose head is not clear! He does not know what he is talking about. He speaks like a loose canon. People in SW look at him as a nonentity. His likes are constantly in Abuja looking for the next government post and attendant chop-chop!

Let the people do peaceful protests. Form your coalition. Push for a vote. Dont cross delicate lines like forming an army. Avoid carnage. It does not pay anyone. If Nigeria goes to war, Syria might look like a child's play. Only possessed people will be calling for that now!
