If Arewa won destinies child then she has no business here, let other people try their luck too. If she can't succeed as an artist after destiny's child, how does she think she would survive now. I just tire. Same thing with Najite, Henry MC John and all d chronic audition warlords.

Yeaa! I watched a guy perform the song on the Voice USA, and he killed it, then I realised that what JDess was child's play. His name is Chris Blue.

Ever since I saw what she did with MI's rap verse on waje's 1 naira, I said to myself, that's creativity right there and she's been one of my favorites ever since.

That was the last winner of the voice U.S.A. He also sang Bruno Mars song, the last one Brother Kendriss sang on the voice Nigeria. I don't want to sound like a complainer but it seems Nigerian music reality shows in general have a long long way to go.

You are not complaining, it's the truth. The difference in quality of voices are still far apart!
Most of those foreign contestants have been singing since they were little or they have music teachers or they are on strict diet. I don't just want to say they are more talented than we are.

And again, it's either the very talented Nigerians are not selected due to corruption or they don't just want to take part in competitions. Because there is one guy I know on Instagram, that guy can sing on Falsetto all through, but I haven't seen him on any show.

I guess with time things would improve sha.

There is serious corruptuon in our music audition. I also feel few professional musicians should be used in these auditions and not artists in modern pop-culture who just do commercial music. Project fame performances with their not as advanced equipment in my opinion are better than all these crap. Also, I know for sure the judges select people they know, and make us believe that those were the best that showed up.

I pray the most deserving wins and not the person with the richest a sponsors. I still remember a particular reality show years back, a full cyber cafe was booked for online voting over night, votes where casted in that cyber cafe all-night for d contestant and guess what, d person still didn't win. During Timi Dakolos Idol, there were long queues during finals , u load their free recharge card, vote for him in their presence and then leave, d queue was massive. Thats naija.
