The Government needs to think things through before acting. The commissioner for environment made it clear no inter-state vehicle should cross Ojodu Berger or Ojota meaning you have to go to these two mega parks to board a bus leaving the state. So If I live in Ikotun, I will have to go to Ojota or Berger in order to take a bus leaving for CrossRiver, calabar, no more God Is good motor at Ikotun or Agofure are Iyana ipaja, everyone goes to Ojodu, how does that work in a state with increase rate of early morning/late night robbery. LASG, please think.

don't get it wrong......ikotun park is still intact, u don't need to come to Berger or ojota before u can travel.

Baba I key to ur word, it not really easy moving from your destination to board bus in ojota, I tried it a day it was like a season firm to me, traffic on that bridge that link to ojota I have to come down because I was going backbto ilorin and the time is not really friendly anymore, they don't do there project for the benefits of the masses

Why should government provide parks for private buses?

Why did the bus drivers illegally appropriate the public space under the bridges to themselves?

thoz under d bridges are not the interstate buses. Check out ojuelegba, is there any garage built to accommodate commercial buses there? Thoz buses going to Apapa Wharf, Aj City, CMS, Ogba, etc have been under the bridges since i knew ojuelegba. They shld also come to clear away the brt buses under mile12 bridge

I think this law was hastily thought out. 7 days is too short a time. In the UK, for example, National Express, Megabus and other coaches ply the cities...so why restrict coaches/buses to the fringes of the city of Lagos. I think the problem is traffic control/crowd control and proper sanitation of the surrounding premises of the transport companies. They can be compelled to sit up by arrests, towing vehicles and hefty fines. Moving all of them to the assigned bus-stops has its own issues security viz ease of terrorist attack due to clustering and 'agbero' fight for supremacy of the mega parks, loss of identity of the brands, more traffic on Ikorodu road as more people would be moving down to the stops to board vehicles just to mention a few. Just hope the Government consulted the experts/stakeholders before coming to a hasty decision.

Try to read and understand before commenting. They had been served quit notice before now. The 7 days was a final notice hence the publicity attached to it.

it depends on where u stay, if u don't stay along Ikorodu road, u don't need to come to ojota b4 u can board a bus.
Lagos is a congested area and d govt is trying to decongest that axis,it may not be easy for interstate commuters but it'll definitely make life easier for intrastate commuters along Ikorodu road.

I replied to a specific post on Ikeja bridge buses and not interstate buses.

This law is not needful because inter state bus are not major reason of traffic grid lock on that road... Gov Ambode we all they wait for you 2019!
