@purelady, happy birthday sis. Wishing you many more fruitful years ahead in Jesus name.

@Iamajoyfulmother, congrats dear, this shall be the beginning of your testimony in Jesus name.

My faith looks up to the Lord, for He's my strength. I'm just trying to be strong, AF showed up this morning.

A sister asked me on Saturday if I was trusting God and I answered yes. She said anytime she sees me, something tells her that I'm not desperate enough.
I beg, can someone explain how to recognise a desperate GTC sister?
Desperate kwa? I beg dont be desprate oh before you go go where satan dey share pikin.
Keep your cheer up and live maximally.

dont mind people that say rubbish. I lost two of my tubes n d only thing my friend could say was i dont pray enough. People saying rubbish since forever . They know notjing about u but claim to be experts . Leave trash for LAWMA. God who sees ur pain in the secret will come through for u. My sister
My dear, people can be unkind like that. We call them Job's comforters. I heard them say worse to a couple grieving the loss of their child.
I tried to endure the thing, but couldn't again as they only succeeded in adding to their pain.
I Had to set one of them straight.

People should learn not to start spewing every nonsensical nonsense that comes to their mind.

The Bible teaches that words can kill, but the right words give life, healing, hope, joy, etc.

Redeemed keep rejoicing in the Lord always. It makes the devil mad, defeated and powerless.

Mama mi, your last statement caught my attention o, Our God is God of Joy that's why He just have to wipe all our tears Rev 21:4, Psalm 126:5. Make we continue to cry unto Him, He will surely be move to turn our cry to laughter.
We Will All Laugh Last in Jesus Name. Amen

Your time shall come. Calm down and take one day at a time. When God remembers you, your mouth will be closed at His wonders. Those people you compare with yourself also have their own problems, just that some are good in remaining cheerful that you'll hardly know. Always give praises to God no matter the outcome. Only the living can ttc. Some are dead but you're alive. Keep up the faith and hope in God.

Why not stop duphas.ton to allow your flow come since you tested bfn? Was it doctor prescription? Why not visit your doctor for advice.

Stopped it yesterday, tho dh is insisting I go for bpt, I'll wait for a week, if no AF. Thanks sis

@ Redeemed, you see this ttc matter ehn, I have developed thick skin for what anyone will tell me. if my own DH could tell me that I don't want it enough, then who is the person that will tell me anything that will pain me? My reply to him was all the one night stands and rapes that resulted in pregnancy, did they want it enough? He sha apologized and retracted his statement but word Don fall e Don fall. I will not stop to dress to kill, make up, look beautiful for myself, dance, smile at every Tom dick and Harry. I can't comman goand kill myself away on top ttc. God has told me He will do it, so why worry and be miserable?

@Faheemaz please see your doctor. I think you need HVS, higher vaginal swap will be recommended so that they can know the drug sensitivity. please put HSG on hold and treat this PID.

Hello GTC mamas, how are we all holding up? May God surprise us all with BFPs real soon. Pls I have a mind boggling question.

I had a pelvic scan yesterday, the result reads normal gravid retroverted uterus and mild fluid in the cul-de-sac... Findings shows PID and I am also scheduled for HSG on Monday, my question now is can I go ahead with the HSG test following the scan result thats shows PID or should the cause of PID treated first so that it doesn't mess with the HSG test result. Finally, anyone that has treated PID, what kind of antibiotics would you recommended. Though I wouldn't mind if there's any antibiotics that can be used btw now and Monday, so that there won't be a need to reschedule, I want to be done with all test latest this month end and start treatment proper.

Thanks for your anticipated response wink

Pls all mamas don't jump am pass or else I will attack your mentions...
ur doing a HSG now will worsen d situation . Reason ,the HSG procedure will push the infection further down n cause more damage. Pls take care of d infection first
Docs normally prescribe a 2 weeks course if treatment for both u n ur hubby
Sugah posted something about it a long time ago
When i did my treatment
It was ciproflaxcin , dixocycline flagyl for 2 weeks twice daily
Some use the rocephin n azthromycin combination
but ensure u go thru d treatment diligently with ur spouse.Better still, See a gynea . PID is d leading cause of blockages in the fallopian tubes n hence infertility and ectopic pregnancy
pls take it seriously

Hmmm......isnt this our God Great?? Around Ramadan period,my sis-inlaw showed me d result of a TVS she did,the diagnosis was pcos n pid. I even advised her to start treating d infection n try n loose weight. She has a 4yr old daughter n she has been trying for another one but no success.
Meanwhile,i had a vitex supplement i was taking, and i realised it was giving me side effects,it was remaing like about 30 capsules,so i just gave it to her to try.
She just called me over d weekend to tell me she is pregnant, scan confirmed she is 9weeks gone and she didnt even know. She went to d hospital for d treatment of her infection n d doc scanned n told her there is a baby there!! Lol
I'm guessing she took in immediately after d ramadan fast. She is so happy n has been thanking me cos she feels God and d vitex i gave her did d work.
I give thanks to God for everything. May God surprise us all very soon. Baby dust

Do Endocervical swab
It will show the specific infection involved and the drugs it's resistant to.
If the lab is good , once you take the most efficient drug the infection will clear
Then u can go for HSG

On the scan result, HVS and urine MCS are advised: can these also determine infection and drug resistant?

@Faheemaz pls treat the PID first, before Hsg, it helps to prevent block tubes as this is one of the leading causes of infertility.
