I don't think it should result in ineligibilty. Have you calculated your crs score or checked out the come to Canada tool? When you say PA has everything in order what do you mean?
Please I need your help. The come to Canada tool says I'm eligible but whenever I fill the EE. It says ineligible. I have ielts LRSW 8,8.5,7.5,7 and Wes

Please guys I need help. I have ielts LRSW 8,8.5,7.5,7 and I have done my Wes. But my spouse hasn't completed his education yet (by November) and he doesn't have work history. Initially the come to Canada tool writes eligible but once I fill the EE, It sends me a message writing ineligible, that I haven't met the criteria. Is my spouse lack of education and work history the problem. I was told it isn't going to be the problem but this is the second time I'm filling it and it keeps saying ineligible. Please help me, I'm so worried

Quote your status then we can help u assess the cause. You partner lack of education doesn't count it just helps your CRS score if you want to go into the pool. However if you have a good score it won't really matter

Good Day House,

kindly Re-confirm if Marriage Certificate alone or Marriage certificate and Court affidavit or Newspaper publication will do for newly wedded couple.

your input is greatly needed.

XX01:

I submitted just newspaper publication and marriage certificate. I never did an affidavit. I just saw here that it may be necessary. Oh well, I have submitted already.

Dear House,

kindly advice on the below assertion:

We are newly wedded couple, less than a month, my wife is the principal applicant and she insist there is no problem if she applies by her name but indicate that she is married and upload the marriage certificate.

Is this ok?

Yes dear. What's your age, work experience years, degree? What's your NOC code? Is it 0,A or B? Must not be a C to be eligible for EE. Let's have the above details and see what the challenge is exactly.

Good day people,

Please for those that have been refused visa, and u filled the schedule A form, what's your answer to this question:

"Have you been refused admission to, or ordered to leave, Canada or any other country"?

Is visa refusal the same thing as being refused admission? Please help me out on this. I need to get done with this.
Thanks.

Hmmmmmm, I though being refused admission means that u were refused entry at the POE.

Please I need contributions especially from people that filled this form and got their PPR. Please my people don't ignore me o....

Hahahahahaha! This made me laff ehn! Initially, I prayed for our file to land in London. I figured oyinbo people would have their act together and that things would move fast there. Hmmmmm.....I danced with joy when we got confirmation that our file was in London. Little did I know.......

At the end of the day, our application took just shy of 5 months, while my friends whose files were in Accra had their applications processed in 3 - 4 months. The point is, yes, I believe that (as Ajujuju2 said) this process teaches us patience, a skill that we would need when we relocate to Canada.

All the same, I pray that London ups their game and starts spitting out PPRs sharp sharp, starting with yours.

God's best,

This is my interpretation as well...

impish:
If you have been refused visa, please state so.

However being refused admission is to have boarded a plane and reached the destination country, and be turned back at the border for a variety of reasons. This is different from having been refused a visa.

Hope this helps!

Hi daremum,

I am not sure if someone has responded to this. Just trying to catch up on the thread. However, from my experience, there should not be a problem with the names. I had a tricky name situation, one that I thought I needed to write a 2-page letter of explanation for. Would you believe that we got our PPR, meanwhile the letter of explanation file we uploaded was corrupt. So our application was processed without my long winded explanation.

My point is that abroad, it is not uncommon for the wife to keep her maiden name. My aunt in the US only changed her documents to her husband's name after 20 years of marriage. So you should be fine. Attach the necessary supporting documents though, and pray for favour. You may also support this with a letter of explanation once you have received ITA, if you want to.

All the best.

Hi all, thanks for the good job here. I have a question that bothers on POF, not sure it had been covered in the past as I have been following keenly from page 200there about.

I have about 80% of my POF in a money market account specifically ARM asset management for the past 4 months. I am confused whether to withdraw the money and keep in my personal bank account in preparation for ITA. I really don't want to write LOE for POF since I have the money already though in a non-traditional fixed deposit.

I had done IELTS with a decent score, but Lautech had left me hanging for ECA due to strike. Now that strike is over I want my POF to be well matured by the time I complete the ECA process, which put me on CRS score of 437, which I believe is competitive enough to get ITA. I know fixed deposit is very tenable but no sure of money market fund.

Thanks

I was refused Yankee visa about 7 years ago, I wrote NO to below question and I have my PPR.

I personally think refused admission differs from refused visa.

N.B. I had a valid yankee visa in my passport as at the time I submitted my PR application. I did not write anything about my previously refused visa application because the fact that I have a valid one superceds d previous denial

Do what your mind tells you
