Biafra was a distant idea until Buhari came and breathed life into it.

Nnamdi kanu was an unknown figure until Buhari came and turned him into a patron saint.

The separatist struggle has been a non violent struggle but the blood thirsty Buhari has now introduced violence into it.

Let history record it.

Let it be recorded that Buhari is forcing the people to take up arms and defend themselves..

Let it be recorded that ,as at today ,the people have no guns, and, have not killed anybody in their peaceful struggle.

But let it be known that there is a natural inclination for people to defend themselves especially when they are being gunned down for no reason other than to satisfy Buhari's thirst for blood.

As Chinua Achebe would say, you can not put a burning charcoal in a child's palm and ask him not to react.

The Nigerian system is flawed and can never work. One Nigeria is not sustainable.

I expect my fellow Southerners to support this struggle. We should not make the mistakes our forefather made.

You are entitled to your opinion and solitary views though, just as everyone is.

I doubt you are truly from Edo State. If you are an Edo boy, you will not type this. You think that the Igbos are different from the Hausas abi. They are even worse sef. This Biafra struggle is just a smokescreen to secure the oil resources in the Niger Delta for themselves. That's why they are fighting for the Niger Delta to support them by all means. All true Niger Deltans should either be calling for restructuring or calling for a Niger Delta republic. Don't think Biafra will be different from Nigeria. Biafra will be Nigeria all over again with the Igbo's talking the place of the Hausa's. Of course, you can guess the fate of the south south tribes in a nation with a majority that is controlling the resources of the minority.

But the way I understand their struggle, they are calling for referendum of which any ethnic group in the region can back out by voting no.

Nobody is stoping them from pushing for referendum? Igbos should go about it the right way. They should stop spreading hate in the country. IPOB cannot curse their way out of Nigeria; they better follow the legal channel to referendum.

You are a true Edolite. We must all speak up against this inhumanity, pure hatred and satanic orchestrated move to ethnically cleansed the Igbo race.

We may not have what it takes to stop them, but let our voices in unison echo our grievances into distances. The world must know that there are some Nigerians who truly hate what is happening now.

Liar. As an Edo man, why are you not the "Kanu" of your Edo state?? Why are you not projecting separatist agenda, looking to procure arms, insult other Nigerian tribe etc? Why are you not doing all these things?

You see, my sister; it beats my imagination when I see these so-called youths from southern Nigeria hailing bubu and his military men for their animalistic humiliation of the unarmed IPOB members.

They think Biafra struggle is all about the Igbo, instead of trying to see the bigger picture.

Now, as an indigene of Edo state, i know you know that there are lots of heights of excellence you can NEVER attain in this country. This is not because you are not qualified academically but because you are from a particular part of the country that some see as minority.

It is no longer news that a core northerner with 3rd class has a better chance of being employed in the federal ministry than a southern graduate with 2¹ courtesy the qouta system.

Lagos, as it is today could be called a Country in a Country, I don't have to tell you why. But how many local government are there? The answer is 20, whereas Kano state has 44. Don't forget that Jigawa was earlier carved out of it with 27 LGs. These made a total of 71.
Now how many LGAs do we have in the former Midwestern region (Edo and Delta)? 25 + 18 = 43.

Where is the money with which these LGs and more are being financed coming from? And if you think the self acclaimed "born to rule" of this country will allow for a shift from the status quo in the name of restructuring, then you must be a comedian.

Support NK and IPOB not because you are part of Biafra, but because you are against injustice in the country.
If the Igbo can gain their freedom then we can at leat be able to renegotiate for a fair deal in this country we call our own.

Did he speak for the entire Edo? Op identifies himself as an Edo man and makes his post then you decide that his individuality must be separated from his place of origin whilst u can confidently don the toga of an 'Edo man'?
