The Nigerian army has agreed to withdraw soldiers from Aba and Umuahia in Abia state.
This comes after an immensely tense period as altercations allegedly occurred between soldiers carrying out the Operation Python Dance campaign and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), an uneasy calm has finally been restored to Umuahia, the Abia state capital.

The development was made public on the Facebook page of Abia Breaking News.
Okezie Ikpeazu, Abia state governor, also made the announcement of the withdrawal of troops during a press conference on Thursday.

Troops had been deployed to the state for a military exercise tagged Operation Python Dance II.

Loudmouth can come out of hiding now.

He was nowhere to be found when he was given the opportunity to deal with the Zoo army, but once the Zoo army retreats, the monkey will come out to play.

As for the governor warning IPOB and cautioning against inflammatory remarks, I reckon he just woke up to his constitutional responsibilities.

Good. Let's see if the miscreants will be wise enough this time or the Idiot Kanu will still gullibly lead them astray once more.

Another stu pid decision by those unthinking bigots in Ask rock ends in public relations disaster for the government and military.
I said it earlier today that whoever gave the order for the military to make a public display of force in Kanu's home and it's surrounds needs to be removed from office.
Apart from the withdrawal being a propaganda victory for IPOB,it will further harden,rather than soften those youths supporting IPOB who would now feel their physical defiance of the military was the cause of the withdrawal and that they could also escalate the Biafra agitation with their new found strength.

The military has proved its point.

Any miscreant who does not imbibe the lessons taught in the past 2days, will only have misery as the consolation.

Bring out your own BSS soldiers and let them come and achieve what Ojukwu couldn't achieve with violence and war.

What u dont seem to get is;

Soldiers are paid to fight. They will shutdown ur economy until a time dey feel u've been intimidated enough!? U cant afford that, esp with d high rate of unemployment all over d nation.

The nigerian army can stay in position for several years! Its no skin off their teeth!
