Information reaching us is that some of our N-Power Volunteers are attempting to dispose their device, we urge you in your best interest not to do so.
Recall that N-Power is a Learn/Work/
Entrepreneurship Programme of the Federal Government's National Social Investment Programme for unemployed Young Graduates between the ages of 18 - 35.
Please note that the N-Power Devices currently being distributed to our N-Power volunteers were secured through an Asset Finance arrangement for 20months with the Bank of Industry (BOI) by the Federal Government National Social Investment Programme. As such the devices are to aid the continual learning and development of our volunteers which seeks to enhance their employability - ready for the Labour market when they exit the Programme after 24months.
These devices are also their Work Tools as it would aid the discharge of their community functions in their primary places of assignment be it at the Public Schools, Primary Health Centres or the Agriculture Development Farm Settlements.
In addition, these devices contain global knowledge content contributed by some of our Global partners such as Cisco, Google, Microsoft etc on ICT, Leadership & Entrepreneurship for their continuous development.
To this end, volunteers are warned that if you dispose your devices, don't utilize the learning content on these devices, or you are found absent at your Places of assignment, we have devised varies means to gather such information and data.
Once caught, you would not ONLY Be dismissed from the Programme (without any appeal), you would be blacklisted from other FG Social Investment Programmes and a Lien would also be placed on your Bank accounts for the full refund of the asset cost to the Bank of Industry.

HOW TO MARK YOUR ATTENDANCE AT YOUR PPA USING THE NPOWER DEVICE -

Assignment. The attendance History will be used to process each volunteer monthly stipends. Even in each device given to all volunteers, the attendance history is shown for you to automatically mark your attendance daily. This can be done when the Global Positioning System (GPS) application is switch on and there is data on your device, but can this new process really work, will the attendance register signing be attainable? This are some of the questions that will be answer below as you continue reading.
The Attendance Register:
The N-Power Attendance History is the new application provided and install in each device of volunteers design to know if they are at their place of primary assignment. It is GPS allocation which automatically locates volunteer’s place of primary assignment and automatically mark your attendance daily between 8am – 2pm daily, Monday till Friday.
This Attendance History will only be mark if you are at your place of primary assignment and at the exact school hour. The attendance register will also be functional if the area you are can be seen on the Google search map or a place where MTN
has network. Your data and location tabs must be switch on to enable the application mark your attendance history daily.


What is really an attendance?
An attendance can be seen as a concept of people, individuals or as a group, appearing at allocation for a previously schedule event. For the case of N-Power, the Attendance register is book or series of daily activities that will be mark to monitor volunteers in their places of posting.
Measuring attendance is a significant concern for many organizations , which can use such information to gauge the effectiveness of their efforts and to plan for future efforts. In educational places or institution, an attendance register is seen as an official list of people who are present at an institution such as a school.
N-Power Teach- In Education and Work
In both aspect of the N-Power categories especially N-Power Teach, in classroom settings and workplace, attendance may be mandatory. Attendance performance will enhance the teacher’s grip on his students as well as their classroom work.
All N-power volunteer, especially those in the N-Power Teach category should know that Regular attendance at school is vital to help children achieve and get the best possible start in life. Each school has their attendance register but the N-Power register has been created also.
Npower Device: Learn how to use the N-Power Device
N-Power School Registers
The N-Power school register is a manual school register that all volunteers will be required to sign in and sign out. This will be used to cross examine their physical presence in place of poor connectivity. All volunteers posted or deploy in a place of primary assignment are require to fill in the attendance register. This is the main tool that will be ask of when the N-Power Monitoring Team starts going around the various N-Power places of Primary Assignment to check their call to duty.
N-Power Device GPS Attendance History
The N-Power Attendance History is also pre-install in each volunteer device. It can track down your location with the GPS application in the device. The process of marking the attendance is automatic and will be marked daily if the GPS captures you at the main point or place of duty between 8am-2pm, Monday- Friday.
Attendance is compulsory for every N-Power volunteer and is a requirement for the processing of your monthly stipends. Pay attention to the attendance register for your own sake. Please know that it is important that you report to your place of primary assignment regularly as required.

To begin with, we have finally sorted out all issues regarding posting.
*NHEALTH* can now go to their various local government to meet their MOH for their posting.
IKORODU, Alimosho and other local government have started posting volunteers.
Secondly on the issue of *Unposted Nteach*, the list has been submitted to the Commissioner in the ministry in charge of Npower Lagos state, we are awaiting his final approval so that the list will be sent to ministry of Education who will later dispatch to district for posting. We advice those concerned to be patient as work is still on going.
*N-Agro* training has commenced in some local government like ikorodu, Etiosa, Lagos Island,Ibeju-Lekki,Epe and Oshodi-Isolo while some will commence their own soon. Please we advice those that have not been attending their training to please start as this will be a yardstick to collect your device and probably your stipends.
Device collection are done in batches, please we plead with volunteers who haven't receive sms to be patient as they will receive soon. Please also note that if you are having issues with your device, kindly send e-mail to devicesupport@npvn.ng.
Redeployment exercise can not commence now because the focal person is still on leave and yet to resume, as soon as she resumes, we will start intra redeployment with immediate effect. Also note that there is no inter state redeployment in this scheme.
You will recall that some beneficiaries who initially had issues with verification exercise later went to the NOA office to resolve their issues. We are glad to inform you that your posting will commence soon and hopefully after that, you will start getting your stipends. Please make necessary documents available because you will be called upon to come for your documentation soon. We will further update you as we progress on this.

NPower Physical verification
Is for applicant that are pre-selected for the NPower programme. It is a screening exercise design to ascertain the true status of applicant before they proceed to selection stage. All applicants who were pre-selected will be notified on where to come for the NPower physical verification. It will take place at the residential LGAs of pre-selected applicants. Local Government Secretariat to be precise.
The 2017 NPower physical verification is schedule to start immediately after Preselection process. The verification exercise will be done in line with NPower regulation with support from the National youth service corps.
(NYSC) as well as the National Orientation Agency.
To start your NPower physical verification, you will be required to present some document which will be sited by the screening team to ascertain your status for the N-power programme.
In due time, applicants will be notified on what to present during physical verification.

The 2017-2018 Npower Verification will be done once your name is shortlisted at your residence Local Government Area you fill during the online recruitment.
Note:
The 2017-2018 Npower Physical Verification is a very sensitive part in all Npower verification because you can be disqualified in this stage in which you can't Proceed proceed to Selection stage, before you can take part in this Npower Physical Verification 2017-2018 exercise you must be among the Npower shortlisted candidates.
The main aim of this verification exercise is to check all information filled during the online exercise to know if it corresponds with the physical documents presented.

Permanent, permanent permanent. Hmmm!!!
When I read some of the write up some volunteers pasted on Npower watsapp and social media at large, I shook my head and the question I ask myself is "So far, have we really done what is require of us to achieve this? May I remind you that apart from the fact that this program is political motivated so to speak because that is the believe of many volunteers, I also believe in the sincerity of this administration under President Muhammadu Buhari.
The bulk of this game rest in our hands, "WORK DILIGENTLY TO ACHIEVE THIS" Now the big question is are we really working? How has this program impact our lives positively? How have we present ourselves to our various bosses in our place of primary assignment?
See the issue here is, it's a welcome idea to agitate for it, but do you think now is the right time when there are still pressing issues in some states like posting, payment, training & device collection. Everything we hope to achieve need to be taking one after the other. As far as I am concern, we 're not ready for this because we 're not yet settle.
Take Lagos for instant, some beneficiaries are already proving themselves to be ready to work. No wonder that scripture says "By their fruit, you shall know them" in fact in line with that statement, we don't even need to struggle before we get Permanent after this program. This issue is an individual performance, we can't begin to agitate for people that are lazy, those that are not even ready to work and at the end of the day, they will be the first set to be employ because they know one "one big man at the top" Lagos state is a case study.
Finally, I sincerely want to advice that we take it easy, the program is not even up to a year and we 're already agitating for something the ogas at the top have not really feel our impact on. Let's also remember we just resume fully with this people and we need to prove ourselves before embarking on this journey. Many officials are still lamenting on the behaviours of some of us especially those taking the work lackadaisically.
First we need to flush out the bad heads among us, we need to talk to ourselves, we need to tell ourselves the bitter truth about this permanency and the fact is now "we don't really need to clamour for it" let's work our way in by rendering meritorious service to the government" If we can unanimously and vigorously work for it, I tell you, you don't even need to shout or protest for this, it will be given to you on blather of gold.
SUBEB in Lagos state is planning to reward diligent & committed beneficiaries in all the primary schools in the state and same is on going in other states. Did we force them before embarking on this? Of course NO. Even if federal government want to permanent some of us, do you expect them to come out and openly declare it? No na, it can't work that way because it will lead to hypocrisy from many of us.
IT IS MY BELIEVE THAT SOMETHING POSITIVE WILL DEFINITELY COME OUT OF THIS AFTER TWO YEARS OF THIS PROGRAM. FG SAYS AND I QUOTE "WE WANT TO DRASTICALKY REDUCE UNEMPLOYMENT IN THIS COUNTRY" THINK ABOUT IT AND DILIGENTLY WORK YOUR WAY IN.
