This is "Owerri city primary school" which is different from the other.

And this is road to Imo state University Teaching Hospital Orlu, the second most-populated city in the same Imo state.. The road was scrapped and abandoned since 2012: Purpose? To make people not patronize the hospital so that it is declared non-viable in its location; it's believed that the governor wants to exchange the teaching hospital for his personal business pursuits.

Why won't he do that? A governor incurably obsessed by the phrase "Capital City." But not even his followers dared to tell him of his problem, of his huge political losses from that.

Less than 10% of Imo state population live in Owerri. The land mass of Owerri Capital Territory is less than 2% of the land mass of Imo state.

There is no other state in Nigeria, or even in the world, where a state governor concentrates 98% of his development projects in the state capital, as Okorocha is doing; while rest of the state collapses;

to the extent that a state governor Okorocha bought hundreds of taxis and said they are limited to his small city state capita; bought scores of police vehicles and said they are to police only his state capita; bought hundreds of buses and said they are to ply only the roads of his state capital.

Whoever does not see that there is a sickness here must be dumb.

It doesn't matter. The important thing is their number and it's impossible to rent 100,000 people.

Owerri kind of feels like a city of arcs now. When fully completed it will give a very beautiful night view to the most nightlife friendly city east of the Niger.

Orji flyover has long been completed but the adjoining roads have not been completed. Hopefully it will be put to use before year end.
