Hi house! Good day all! Please, how can I make an airline reservation for a return ticket? Is it possible to make like 5% of the actual fair cos I intend adding it to my application? If yes, who can help with this? I don't intend paying the full fair. I just need to have it attached to my application prior to submission, since it's needed for a tourism visa. Please house, help with this, need this asap. Much thanks to you all for your contributions ahead.

Hello everyone,

Is there anyone still waiting to hear from CIC that applied for Canada visit visa in May via online?

I applied for visit visa May 26 and I am yet to get any update from CIC.

This forum is very informative. Good job nairaland!

My online account says "fingerprint not received", which is the biometrics.
Do you think that's why the application is being delayed? What will you advise I do?

Be strong blackpearl, i'm conscious of the Canada visa refusal feelings. Kindly take note of these two (2) visa adjudication points now and work on them by building a good travel history and also making greater savings as i believe anything beyond 4million would be considered sufficient for a couple with air fare inclusive for two(2) weeks visit. Never give up and try again when the travel history is built, though some without any travel history are granted visa. Your time shall come sooner than later, ok.

Secondly, does it mean June applications have all been processed? As i submitted my paper route application on the 23rd of June. Kindly update us please if you're a June applicant whether granted or refused as we're all here to help one another.

Thank you all and God bless the prospective responders.

I think they are processing those that submitted on 11th of June now

@ the bolded, I submitted my application on the 16th of June, paper route and i got a mail yesterday that my application has been processed, dispatched to cvac and passport ready for collection. I did pay for courier on submission as i live far away from Lagos. I shall tell the house what the outcome is once I receive it but with various refusal cases i have seen on here it will take miracle for me to be granted the visa, I promise to share my story once i receive the passport though

Hello,

Please i need an urgent response to the question below or your take on what i have been thinking of.

I applied for my Canada visa 10th August to accompanying my daughter to her University in Canada for her MBA degree.shes an adult 20years of age but i want to help her settle down.she applied for her permit visa same time with me so we are both awaiting a response from CIC.I booked an hotel reservation along side(An hotel close to the school at British Columbia) I have a good travel history (SA,UK,SPAIN,US). However i didn't disclose i was once denied a US visa because i have a current US Visa to expire 2018 so i felt since i still have a current visa there was no need to disclose.

i have submitted my application Via online route and i just got to know about this trend please is there a way i can update the Canadaian embassy stating that i was refused before but still have a current US Visa using the email: accra.immigration@international.gc.ca or i should hold on and say nothing.

And for my daughter does my USA refusal affects her because when she was 13 years old i applied for a USA Visa and was rejected; she was included in my application then. But since she was a8 years she has been applying for herself and has been issued a USA visa. Please does it affect her so she will disclose it?

I will appreciate any contribution what soever. Please let me know your view.

We are going in a group to Canada, we got letter from state govt and letter of introduction from Ministry foreign affair but we were asked not to include our statement of account. I feel statement of acct is necessary. How can I forward my statement of acct to embassy?

Myself, elder bro and mum intend to visit our bro who has been studying in Canada for while now. What is our chances of getting visa approved because I have been refused study permit twice, my mum and elder bro don't have a passport. Mum is a principal, elder bro a business man, both of us are married and have investment over here. We have good account as well.

dear Tweesy, sorry for your dilemma. i have seen several wonderful suggestions offered by fellow nairalanders but i think i may have to differ on this one. there was a declaration signed at the end of your application to vouch that all information provided were accurate which you must have signed. a part requests for refusal history for canada and/or other countries, which no one knows what they do with it per say. you should not assume the intention of IRCC or any other immigration office. for IRCC, withholding information or assuming is a bad idea. someone here on this thread made this same assumption and it did not go well.
so in my honest opinion, i will cancel my application, submit another one and in my new letter of explanation, i shall take the first paragraph after my introduction to explain what had happened and how it was an honest mistake after i must have admitted any refusals of course. to the best of my knowledge, the CSE and mail service are to add relevant information to your application not to tell a VO that the information you had vouched on is rather false. well, maybe there is another way to it but i have no knowledge of what it may be. very best of luck on this one.

hi mesh2003, i do not think this kind of error is what the mail service or CSE is for but then i may be wrong. this is a much more severe error and should be treated as such

dear Epoh4, it matters not. when applications made on the same day are not finalized at the same time, it is because documents verification are wasting time and there is nothing you can do but wait. exercise some patience.good luck

You don't need to do anything. Just relax and wait for their response. You have a current US Visa already. The decision lies on the VO Officer. Your daughter for sure should get hers but then for you, they will look at your family ties back home, proof of funds, sufficient travel reason (i.e why are you following your daughter all the way to Canada just to help her start school) but like I said it depends on the Visa officer.

Wishing you best of luck.

hi Liz2014, this may not be correct. you may have to read the IRCC act to understand what misrepresentation is. knowingly or unknowingly, people commit this crime and a ban is the capital punishment. some VOs, rarely, may be lenient enough to spot grave errors and give applicants a chance within a timeframe to clear the doubt or be punished but that is not common. final decisions rest on VOs but the factors being considered are based on the law which we know that they cannot break to satisfy anyone. people should be careful particularly when it comes to history between Canada and the US.

hi Opoki, your chances cannot be told. twice is a lot so please apply for your case notes before making further applications. it is always a good idea. you cannot keep dashing out 185CAD without wanting to know why its not yielding desired results. money is not paramount here, and you dont need excess of it as people with 1million Naira get visas daily. you have to take your time and make your application a complete one by including all registration documents and desired papers. also never attempt to withhold previous refusals by any country, they never go well. best of luck.

Thanks so much for your input. I got my gmcs file and the reasons were purpose of visit and financial but the truth is I don't understand how they arrived at that conclusion because I studied Management and Accounting, wanted to do MSc in Global Business Management and I have a very good account balance, I own a small farm and hatchery managed by my wife and mum and I also lecture in a college of education.

All evidences shown but got refused!
