As much as it is not encouraging, I have come to realized that the only language Nigeria govt understand is violence.
We applied for both FCSC and FIRS since last year and we've heard nothing since.
Considering the fact that Nigeria is a developing country, I never expect us to be this poor and unrealistic.
A peace protest is likely to be the only solution to this issue.
For how long will it take them to make a recruitment for unemployed graduates for Bleep sake?
I still don't blame Nnamdi KANU for agitating for another republic.
This country is beyond repair.
FCSC SHORTLIST LAST 3 TO 4 MONTHS AND HAVE START ISSUING APL.

The shortlisting was not publicized then. Because most applicants didn't hear anything about the shortlisting.
Or better still they have not shortlisted atall.
Are you an applicant or do you know anybody who got shortlisted?

I concur to this, it's one year plus and nothing has been heard. at least we hv freedom of expression of anger and joy as citizens, it's either they mk it public that d recruitment has been cancelled or they shortlist names.

the truth is that we all need patience, because they are working on it now, not even in Abuja office but the Lagos Office, there the panel for the recruitment would publish the list. everyone just need to calm down. it is true that some people where employed early this year, that has nothing to do with the recruitment. they were like 35 in number, last year before the advert for the recruitment they employed more than a 100 Managers,Asst Managers, Tax officer 1 and 2. all these secret recruitment has nothing to do with the August recruitment of 2016. there are a lot of vacancies to be filled in the service nation wide.

.

if HR won't be involved, Lagos branch can even do worse than Abuja, let's just believe God to fight for us that's all.

No way lagos office will conduct recruitment without involvement of head quarter, Lagos office is not the head quarter of federal inland revenue. Lagos has regional office. Am not disputing the fact that recruitment cannot conducted in lagos the way they did the last one in Kano and Lagos, but lagos is just regional office of the SERVICE like any other part of Nigeria.

Are you an applicant or do you know anybody who got shortlisted?

It was! in fact, a series of lists was published through their website some time ago (I saw it). Interviews have ended as well, according to their website, " Interviews of shortlisted candidates from Applications submitted during the 2016 recruitment exercise has ended."
I guess applicants are currently awaiting appointment messages. To me, that is progress. What about this one?

No list has ever been released. 2016 recruitment is yet to be concluded. In no distant time the list will come out.

This is a thread. Are you sure you are following? Perhaps try to review this current page to see how we are trying to refer and also compare FIRS with FCSC 2016 recruitment adventures. I only quoted @hopyroll. I don't think I'm mistaken here, neither am I mistaking FIRS for FCSC!
