In groups we would then be sent to specific ‘inter-planetary’ aspects to receive ‘lessons’ by great teachers the likes of say Sammael.

The control feature was that we went as a group, the experiences had to be the same, the descriptions had to be the same and the lessons we were taught had to be demonstrated and independently assessed by the Abbotts. This precluded the illusionary or hallucinatory aspects of soul travel, it validated our experiences to each of us and served as the basis to increase the strength of one’s astral cognition.

So, my question to you is what, if any were the control features of your astral journeys? How do you independently verify the authenticity of your experiences? How do you know that you are not locked into a cycle of self-validation?

Well, so many years ago. When I was excited about this, I projected to my grannies place and saw my cousin. It turns out that the next morning, when I had forgotten, he called and asked why I had to leave without waiting for him, that he wanted to come with me to my place.
