chances of her finishing with a first class in O.A.U would have been very slim.. that her year one result is not really exceptional in O.A.U. year one GP is always like that. m so sure, many of her colleagues then would have better GP in that 100L

I doubt her graduating with first class, part one for that matter. what if she was a science student.

Go, Fola, go Fola. . .
Her sister, Fiyin, is just as smart.
Both their parents work in a general hospital. Her Dad is a well known doctor in Osun state.
Not everyone successful person has to be poor.
Some people were made. .others were groomed.

I don't know how the jamb thing works these days. But if I was to print something and my printer is bad, I would click print and then from the print window tab I would save it as PDF instead or xps format, though PDF is better. Then take the PDF doc in a flash drive to the cafe and pay N50 for black and white or N200 for coloured instead of N2000. That cafe wants to rip you off! You need to be smart about it! Learn how to use print window to save as PDF doc and print at your own convenient time/place.
nice reply from you here. Infact I have been expecting this kind of reply. Nice one from you.

Na sadistic lecturers no let the girl get 5.0 cgpa in OAU what stops her from getting 5.0 in Nigeria if she can make 360/360 in U.K

ehhhh you be guru oooo. Efiwe. Upon Nigeria challenges in institution, you still scape through. Love that. Congrats.

[quote author=ADENIKETINA2015 post=60367076]Oh my country!
But who do "US" this thing
I'm so sure she would have just graduated with a distinction(going by her initial CGPA) without setting any record if she had stayed back thanks to our ever frustrating educational system and lecturers who have sworn never to give you an "A"
They bombard you with so many borrowed courses that is irrelevant to your field

When I tell people I can't wait to leave this country for the three arms of government, some of them always come up with the cliche of "who will make it right if we all leave"
My late Grand Parents stayed back and fought to make it work and here we are still trying to make it work

But I'm not ready to let this country ruin me.
One country can not come and kill me.
When your country forces you to venture into bet9ja, then my brethren you really need to leave ASAP.

For everyone who has the means and also desires to relocate, Pls don't think twice about it - JUST GO INFACT RUN and if possible RUN with your FAMILY MEMBERS.

And whoever knows this rare gem should advice her to stay back and practice there (if she gets called and she really does stand the chance)
Brain drain? Yes!!!

But what have we achieved with the amount of scholars who came back after their studies?

A lot end up with stunted growth in their various fields due to the inefficiencies of our "Selfless Leaders"

I just want her to be in:

A place she'll be able to practice true judiciary without anybody hunting for her life.

A place she wouldn't be blackmailed with her past in order not to carry on with a case.

A place where she will not have to worry about the tag that "All Lawyers Are Liars"

A place she will not need to dance to the tune of politicians to make a name and a living

This country weak me! [wow!! wow!! wow!!! Am so impress with u and ur post kudos to you, #thumb up]

Coming from a barrage of hot 7-9 courses from OAU, 4 courses is nothing, and coupled with the fact that she's naturally good and in a very conducive environment for learning, it's safe to say it's expected. But then again she would have finished with a first class in OAU, if you are exceptional, you are exceptional any where.
I'm currently in my final yr studying Mech. Engineering @FUNAAB... my 500L 1st semester was wen I took d least number of courses n datz 7. Took 13 courses in my 200L 2nd semester, twas like hell. Some changes are being made already as d current 200L set r nt taking dat much but its still "MUCH"

Lol... I have zero knowledge of Jamb process, consult with your peers in the education section of Nairaland or take a trip to the nearest Jamb office for authentic information.

True.

Do you know their eldest Feyi, she is equally bright and lovely.

She was in part 1 English when I was in part 2 Architorture.

Their cousins are also very very good.

Bro I understand you but it is not always like what you have said. There are several people I know their CGP wasn't decreasing but increasing every session. One of my classmates in school made a 4.51 at our final result, he started with a 3.86. Oh boy come and see 5.0, 4.8, 4.7 starting from 200 level, another guy started with a 4.45 but eventually finished with a 4.64. Meanwhile a guy started with a 4.95, he ended up with a 4.60, a lady started with a 4.50 and ended up with a 3.52. 100 level is still a baby level, you can't use it to judge one's performance, there are chances your CGP drops and there are chances your CGP increases. For your mind you go deh feel like best student for the whole school in your 100 level not knowing you will never be close to it.

As for me, I won't expect anything less from Fola, she had the best result in WAEC for her set. Not the best result in her school or Osun State but the whole of Nigeria. If she doesn't finish with a first class, I will personally condemn her because you can't get that result she got for her O'level if you are not a genius or at least close to being a genius except if she cheated during the exam which I want to believe she didn't. In fact processing admission to OAU was very below her standard, she should have flown abroad from the outset. Lol.

Kudos to her. If only Nigeria harnessed her potentials, who knows what heights the country would have attained by now?
