Xiaomi Mi Note 3 was announced in addition to the Mi Mix 2 this week. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is a new mid-range device with sharp features. Comes with a dual camera that promises to make selfie even more of a science

Despite the fact that there are not so many stores to get Xiaomi phones in Nigeria, there are quite a lot of die-hard Xiaomi fans. Could this be because the phone are quite affordable compared to Samsung and iPhone or because the company produces High End mobile that suit customers’ taste?

Those are question that are not going to be answered in this post. Not to forget, Xiaomi is 5th largest phone maker in 2017, Google is your friend, haha, kidding, read up here.

Let’s see what the Note 3 is about.


DISPLAY AND DESIGN
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 sports a 5.50-inch display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch. with a 2.5D curved glass.

The device comes in Black and Blue colour variants. It is designed in Curved glass body with aluminium frame.

SPECS AND PERFORMANCE
Inside the Note 3, you will find the Snapdragon 660 SoC with its eight Kyro 260 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 512 GPU.

The device packs 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. While the RAM is the top-end LPDDR4x type, the storage is the inferior eMMC 5.1.

Out of the box, it runs on the newly released MIUI 9 which is built upon Android 7.1 Nougat OS.

CAMERA
There is a dual camera setup in the rear of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. There are two 12MP cameras with different functions. One has a f/1.8 aperture wide-angle lens and 4-axis optical image stabilization support. The other 12MP sensor in the back has a telephote lens and its aperture is f/2.6.

The front camera for selfies has a higher 16MP sensor.



BATTERY
It packs a 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging tech from Qualcomm (Quick Charge 3.0).
