Well it is pretty obvious big mom eat everyone including the children and mother caramel. And we know mother caramel is the original user of the soul-soul fruit. How else could she have gotten the devil fruit power if not from the resulting cannibalism? Remember how blackbeard got the Gura Gura no mi power? He just cover White beard with a cloak so he wouldn't revealed the secret and in less than a minute he is out with the gura gura no mi. From this we can deduced that devil fruit power can be transfer from one person to another either by eating the flesh or drinking the blood of the host(Provided the person dies). Either way it involves some form of outright cannibalism.

Then we see mother caramel cloth on the floor after she lost her memory of what happened to everyone. The giant who witness what happened was extremely horrified, What could possibly made even a giant to be so horrified that he fled to tell his story? Another witness was Steseun(Or whatever his name is), A man who has the power to turn anything to food. Although he is evil but he took interest in her. Both he and her were the perfect combination, He has the power to quench her insatiable hunger for food with basically anything. Judging from his looks he is most likely the father of the badass Katakuri.

Definitely a few of her children would be used as an example leaving the strongest ones and possibly Streusen no choice but to fight back. It would be big mom verse her own crew. Now we don't know if the strawhats or Luffy rather will continue with their escape or will stay back and help. Big mom has to be taken down this arc somehow or she will be the strawhats greatest nemesis. Maybe pudding will help erase her memory.

The wedding cake is one heck of a cake to reproduce in such short notice and that is what she crave for currently. Countries were raid just to get the best flour, best sugar best ingredients for the cake. It is impossible to stop big mom rage this time around, Unless through force.

Well if you look at it carefully it is actually rational. Zeus is just part of the soul of big mom who have an insatiable appetite, remember souls still retains the character of their main host. Even shadows in thriller back arc. It is only natural Zeus, Prometheus and Napoleon share the same traits. Again she created them with her soul when she is just five years old i think, those souls may just be a reflection of her five year old self. But i don't think Zeus will be their nakama, i mean he is the soul of a freaking yonko! Big mom can undo and recreats him anytime. Unless Oda decides to throw another twist to the story. If big mom eventually gets defeated all the souls will return to their hosts(Including Her's probably). So what's the point of keeping zeus as a nakama. He will just be manipulated to create an escape route for the strawhats for now, he seems really naive.

But they was a forshadow in one of the image Oda drew long ago. It hinted luffy somehow gots both zeus, Prometheus and Napoleon on his side somehow. Maybe that's how he will defeat Kaido who knows. Cause throwing strong punch on kaido definitely isn't enough.

The correct name should be Katakuri, not Dogtooth... Its a fault of bad translation!

They can't escape without Sanji to begin with, and he needs about 3 hours or more to bake the cake. I think that's the duration Luffy will fight Katakuri and he wouldn't even defeat him. Considering he spent 8 hours fighting cracker even with the help of Nami. Lets just hope Luffy learns some new skills and possibly awakened his devil fruit.

I believe he will. Judging from his fight with Doflamingo. Duffy used the awakening mode of his devil fruit, he then stated that only does that have mastered their devil fruit can use it.

Forget Black beards pirates self, How would he face Kaido if he is still struggling with Yonko commanders. Even Oda the author of one piece said he is still trying to figure out how on earth luffy will defeat Kaido even with awakening. A power up is long overdue.

lol. but u know he isn't really running/scared. he truly wants to go 1v1 with bigmom but Jinbe and the crew won't let him. they keep reminding him that d rest are waiting for him in wano and he gatta hurry if he's to beat kaido... seriously,come to think of it, Luffy can't be running from fights at this point in his life/anime. even if the opponent is op, he still gatta go heads on. that's d only way to become pirate king. haven't u noticed since entering new world, he ain't been scared of picking a fight even with a yonko.
